[[So after like, five years...
I'm starting to get back into the fandom again. I'm actually playing DA:I finally. Thanks to finally having a decent job.
Sparrow has grown more into a personal OC, however I still love her Dragon Age roots. Feel free to tag me, as most of my stuff noted on my page is current.]]
[[okay, we’ve hit Val Royeaux. I had to put some extra hours in at work so I’m behind where I want to be. Also had to work on the keyboard and clean it up. We’re stuck at the choice. Mages or Templars? This is my crack “play for fun” game...]]
[[Okay, okay. I’m gonna try. I’m gonna finally sit down and play through this game. I haven’t really been spoiled, yet... so expect some dumb posting about the game.]]
[[So I need to get my chrome tabs back on track (on the main computer that’s been replaced and the chromebook both), but I’m really getting the urge to get Sparrow back on track.
I feel so silly that she’s been on the back burner for all this time! But maybe just checking in three days a week to start will be good.]]
[[Slowly seeing Sparrow come back in my mind. I have still yet to play DA:I past Haven thanks to work.
But I have a new computer that works! I’m super excited. And a doll incoming to be Sparrow herself. So maybe some cute photos. I still have a few weeks before the doll hits shipping though. ‘cause tan skin.]]
Semi-Permanent Hiatus
[[I’m just going to make it official. I’m still around, I do still check on people here and there, but as for replying and being active for RP... not so much.
The urge to write is fairly lackluster. Any attempt to write with Sparrow in my mind simply stalls and falters. I’m still drawing, she is still a major muse. In fact, a new doll is on the way to be a more tangible option to play around with. But for now, I’ll stick to keeping my apartment tidy and crocheting when I can. (Still fighting the bathtub issue on and off. It takes far too much out of me and at this point I’m tempted to pull tenant rights and either move out or go to court.)

[[Mun Update: One more weekend. I’m just finishing up my costume (I may have run out of time for everything by the convention this weekend but hey, it’s mostly put together).
Some last minute sewing commissions as well and new patterns for some doll clothes. And a resurgence of the dreaded water leak issue I’m literally calling on daily and sent out far too many certified letters. I’m about to call on one of the contractor quotes given and sent to the landlord. And I don’t mean the actual rental management company, I sent those letters to both the landlord and rental management. Renting half a house is harder than it seems. (Literally, the two story house is split in two down the middle.)]]
[[Mun Update: Almost done with the biggest commission for the month. Fit works out well and just need to run the seams through an overlock stitch to hold together ‘cause spandex bodysuit. I should be back around Halloween or shortly before. Again, my most sincere apologies for being absent! Here’s a list of the life stuff that is going on:
This week: Four doll corsets by Monday the 12th. Manager portraits from work completed and sent to store director for the grand reopening by the 14th. (Yes, I got stuck with photography work, but hey $100 is $100!)
Next week: Work 40+ hours, meet up with dolly friend for the corsets since they’re in town. Sew slight steampunk themed skirt. Pray corset shows in time.
Week ending the 24th: Local ComiCon. First year, pray corset still shows if it it hasn’t. Probably cave and carry around Heleri (Souldoll Shiva) in some sort of backup cosplay (Cilan or Quatre).
After that I’m free! I’m not participating in NaNo this year due to the sheer amount of sewing commissions I got in this year.

[[Mun Update: Still sewing. I’m up to about a pretty big outfit every two days on my days off, every four for work days. So basically 8 hours a day sewing when I’m not at my real job. Four when I am. Working days are 12 hours of work right now.
Also dealing with getting the upstairs bathroom fixed. The joys of renting a two floor apartment. We can at least use the shower and stuff but it leaks so bad we just take short showers.
Ordered the doll reshell of Sparrow. Payment should go through sometime Monday then stuck waiting almost two months for her to show. So December is going to be a big doll month. Maybe by the time she shows I can have a cute outfit sewn up for her. I need to find boots. Badly.]]
[[Mun Update: Apartment is fixed, I’m getting TV services tomorrow (yay the budget is fixed!) and I still have five more sewing commissions to blast through. Two are pretty stupidly complicated. The other three are simple already made patterns.
By Halloween (Oct 31st) I should be back. I’m seriously hoping guys.

[ Fun fact: I always described League RP as a community I would never get in to. I couldn’t see myself fitting in, I didn’t fancy such a huge community (with all the pitfalls large communities come with). I certainly didn’t ever imagine I’d be here with not one but three blogs that I adore. I’ve made so many friends across all three blogs that I hope I’ll have for a long time to come. So basically, this is a big ‘ol thank you to everyone who’s ever encouraged me to stay active here, and that’s basically every follower. SO. ;u;

[[I am still around. Again, crunch time so don’t expect much for a couple more weeks. A bunch more sewing, some tears, many work hours (we lost three people in a department that really only has nine) and stress at the home (getting the landlord to fix a god awful water leak from the tub sucks. I have to drive across town to my mom’s to take a shower!).

Also, doctor said I’m pretty darn healthy and didn’t even bat an eye at my weight. Even kind of dismissed it since I’m doing pretty good on blood tests and how active I am. So yay!]]

She chuckles again. “I can always follow on the carpet.” As silly as it sounded, it was true. Rolled up by the inn was a nice piece made of frostweave. “I still don’t trust it to go too high though. New spells and all.”
A tilt of the head belied her comfort in the situation. “Are you nervous about going on a trip with a random stranger? I pray tell I’m not particularly that strange!”
