one of the coolest parts about the star trek fandom is how unabashedly into space trekkies are. like, trekkies love space and have such a hopeful and adoring outlook to it. trekkies honest to fuck just want to get out there and sail the stars and have space adventures and just see it all. and it’s their show that helps encourage them to have such wild wonder when they look up at the sky.
