but also!!! i got really hit by that moment at the start where they all feel obviously bad and defeated, and they all go their separate ways, and Pomni is obviously panicking because she wants to help all of them and doesn't really know where to start <3
and god that moment where Jax tries to approach Pomni and then decides not to, and it leads to his abstraction....
I think some people may not understand that ultimately, Jax was the cautionary tale. She never opened up, and the one time she did, she ended up pushing away. She kept refusing help, she kept refusing to truly connect with people. And we learn why, and in the end it's good that Pomni was able to have a final moment with her so she's more at peace with herself, but it's also truly important to note that she says herself that it's too late now
though i do wish we got a tell that her human self has transitioned. but also, i think the idea is that she's still on that journey; she's not homeless anymore, has started to make friends, and the fact she goes to the queer bar is I think another pretty big tell that she'll get there eventually
Anyway that's why, that's the reason Jax had so much focus; he's the one who learned the lesson too late. Yet, she's still given a moment to make some amend with Pomni
also unrelated, but the way the whole theater gasped when Caine reappeared <3 cinema etiquette is very big in Belgium, and most people try to not be too noisy, so hearing that general gasp was fun <3
Also everyone clapped at the end, which is something I almost never see??? so that was fun :)
OH AND we got the full story of ehat happened between Jax and Ragatha <3 my poor girl was put in a situation that she had no way to know how to handle. Also that Pomni and Ragatha hug and how they kept looking at each other as they drparted <3

There should definitely be more queer media, don’t get me wrong, but I fear a lot of white western sapphics are underselling how much wlw media there is because they’re not willing to consume media that doesn’t have white leads or is in any language other than English. Thailand is pumping GLs out constantly. There’s a main lesbian couple on the biggest Brazilian telenovela airing right now. You’ll have plenty of sapphic media on your plate as long as you read subtitles. Hollywood isn’t the only place where movies/shows are made.
