@teaboot did you know that Arapaima are not only huge, but is one of the largest freshwater fish in the world?

Not only that, but these fish are air breathers! They come up every 15-20 minutes for air, having a swim bladder specifically evolved to act like one big lung.

They're a keystone species in the Amazon, so important that their health is vital to making sure the Amazon thrives!

Also, because of the way they eat, fruits that land on the surface of the water end up in these gargantuan fish's diets. These guys eat their fruits and veggies ! Yum

All of these facts I'm sure you already knew, but I enjoyed doing a little dive into these guys as I'd never heard of them before today. Really cool fish!

"What are you gonna do about it?" At best they steal multiple years from this man's life before he's exonerated, at worst they kill him and rule it a suicide. God Damn America.
