    “Well, you know what they say about might making right…People are going to follow a big guy with a big stick, and strategy won’t dazzle them the same way. But that doesn’t mean it’s not what makes things work - maybe the soldiers don’t look up to you, but does what they think really matter? I mean…Take it from me, most of them aren’t that smart.”

“Its just hard not getting any recognition! I want my name to be remembered! Chen Gong will be words synonymous with cunning and victory. So, that is the thought that pushes me through their nonsense. Oh, I hope you don’t take this wrong way either, I do respect those out on the field. They make my genius work.”

"Can i have your pretty hat?"

“My hat? You want my hat? Absolutely not! Its important to my aesthetic!”

    “Yeah, he’s real…Inspiring. Mostly inspires people to run the other direction the way I see it, but that seems to work well for him. But doesn’t he ever get you down? It can’t be easy working with him.”

[splendidstrategist]

“Soldiers don’t look up to people like me. I make things happen but Lu Bu is what men want to fight under. But... Hmph. Between you and me, yes. He’s quite discouraging, his ego gets to his head. It can be like talking to a wall. He’s a warrior, not a strategist and yet he thinks his plans superior. My intellect is leagues beyond his.”

    “No, no, the opposite! Like…I don’t know how you do it. You’ve got so much energy, I feel like I’ve run a mile every time I see you. I mean, I shouldn’t expect less from someone who has to deal with Lu Bu, but…”

[splendidstrategist]

“Self confidence is all it takes! I do admit, Lord Lu Bu can be, frustrating. But you have to admit he can be inspiring. Besides if I didn’t have this energy I’d catch his pessimistic attitude, nothing would get done that way. We both have a goal to reach.”

    “Of course, but my curiosity has been piqued. What is this ‘little advice’ of yours?”

[splendidstrategist]

“Honestly its rather simple advice. Just realize the whole world is yours! Though unfortunately when you strike out to carve your own path, you probably won’t have my outstanding intellect. I’ll leave you a strategy book, it’ll be like I never passed! Then with your strength and my recycled genius, you can’t lose.”

    “You can’t be serious. Are you sure that’s it? Talent can’t be the only thing keeping you going - just watching you makes me tired.”

[splendidstrategist]

“Probably some tea on the side. Wait- How do I make you tired? I’m energetic! Do you think I’m bland..?”

[wickedorchids]

    “Don’t you ever get tired?”

[splendidstrategist]

“The thrill of success is the only energy I need.  My incredible talents are exhilarating!”

    “What are you going on about, Chen Gong?”

[splendidstrategist]

“Hm? Oh! You don’t understand ambition? I know you do! Being the master’s daughter. Certainly you acknowledge your own might? If not, I have a little advice for you~.”
