The splicer cleared his throat a bit nervously, shaking his head with a forced laugh.

“I wasn’t…. hiding…. I was— Uhm—” Deep, wheezy breath.

“Exploring.”

Immediately the Sister perked up, her grin broadening.

"Ooh, that sounds like so much fun! I go exploring all the time, but I don’t think people like it—what’d you find, huh? Anything good?"

He had to be quick and find something to say. His charade was sure to come to an end if he wasn't careful with his words.

"I found-- A uhm.. A place! Yea."

Ozze turned right when the child started towards him, shaking his head and backing up— But it was too late. She was already clinging onto him,”Mhhh….. Why….?” He whined, rubbing his hands down his face.

With a giggle, Elaine only nuzzled her head against his side, the friction causing her already-frazzled hair to tangle and tease out even moreso in one section.

“It’s been forever since I saw you!” A few days, realistically; “If I didn’t know better, I’d think you were hiding from me.”

“Ozze!” At the sight of the splicer the child immediately called him out. Bounding toward him she grinned, and, with much enthusiasm, clung around his waist in the form of a hug.

Ozze turned right when the child started towards him, shaking his head and backing up-- But it was too late. She was already clinging onto him,"Mhhh..... Why....?" He whined, rubbing his hands down his face.

The first real human being Oz had met in this place was some strange little girl who offered to give him a lollipop. He declined, though, and was slightly glad he did.

Staring at the woman from behind his sunglasses, he pursed his lips, careful not to wipe any of his white makeup away.

Noticing the man’s oddly white face, Marcie turned her attention to the man. “Hello. I don’t think we’ve met.” She extended her hand in greetings.

Craning his neck back slightly when she extended her hand, he raised a brow, but reached to return the greeting, nodding. “Hm… I don’t think so either..” His voice was a whisper, and had quite a wheeze to it,”Who are you…?”

“Marcella Fink, nice to make your acquaintance.” She didn’t comment on his voice but it had her intrigued. “So, what brings you to the famed city in the sky?”

“I don’t… really remember… But there was a lighthouse.” He nodded, recalling some of the things he came across on his way,”And a weird noise and strange lights… But, anyways…”

“A lighthouse? It must have been the rocket station into Columbia. Are you a pilgrim, then?” Many stores were open to pilgrims, who didn’t always stay in Columbia.

Pilgrim...? No.. That didn't sound right. Shaking his head, he hesitantly named his home,"I'm from... uhm... Rapture..." Oz muttered. One of those moments he wanted her to hear what he said, but then again, he was afraid of the outcome. So, it came out as a whisper.

The splicer grinned, his sharp teeth showing clearly. 

“Follow me.” He smirked, walking off to the big contraption.

Babe’s eyes followed the splicer.

”..Okay.” He trotted after the other.

When he was inside the pod, he waited 'til Babe was in before he pulled the lever to close the door, turning to watch out the glass,"Watch... closely..."

“Mm..” He grumbled,”Ozze. But call me Oz.” He took a deep breath and looked around.

“The Rapture lighthouse. Er… Inside the Rapture lighthouse. Right out those doors is the ocean…”He turned, pointing to a large pod-like object,”Inside that, you go down… to Rapture.”

“…What’s rapture?” He hadn’t any idea of what it could be, he’d never heard of Rapture. It sounded more like rupture.

Oz confusedly stared at the newcomer, light dimming as he narrowed his eyes behind his sunglasses. The white paint covering his grey skin made him look a little normal, except for the fact his breathing had a light wheeze to it.

His voice was creepy. He didn’t say a word.

The teen had his hands in his pocket, he had gotten lost and apparently ended up here. Wherever this was, he looked to the man with a soft smile.

“Hi.”

A low growl came from deep within his throat, sounding dry and cracked. Tilting his head, he sniffed, looking over the top of his sunglasses so that the dim yellow glow from his eyes would show.

“Hey.”

“What’s your name? Do you mind telling me where I am?” He inquired, glancing around. It smelt…salty.

"Mm.." He grumbled,"Ozze. But call me Oz." He took a deep breath and looked around.
