The third man’s eyes went to the one on the ground, to the man still slumped against the bar, and then to Dark. He took a step back, wide eyed. “You’re a fucking monster,” he rasped.
Dark lowered his arms to his sides again, a bitter smile playing across his face. "Realized that just in time, didn't you?" He didn't wait for a response before turning away. His shadow hand withdrew from the man on the ground, leaving behind five small holes on his hand where the fingers had punctured the skin.
He walked back over to Farore in silence, only meeting her eyes for a moment before glancing away. He already knew he'd reacted badly, but it was difficult to reign in his emotions sometimes. And saying he wasn't a real person...
He knew he wasn't, but he didn't like being reminded.
"We should go," was all he said, staring off at some point to Farore's right.
