myth!xavier, king of darknight, as a dad headcannons
kod myth! xavier who would teach his daughter how to ride a pony before she could walk on her own two legs. he’ll hold her by her waist to keep her upright while she sits on the saddle, giggling and smiling as the shetland pony trots forward. by the time she’s learnt to walk, she would also be able to ride by herself.
kod myth! xavier who would hand carve out toys for his little princess, wooden animals and figures, which started out as a little chipped here and a little uneven there, but ended up as her favorite toys anyway. he’s been leaving them in her crib since she was a baby (which you always told him off for since they could be a choking hazard and she started teething off of them). even when she gets older xavier keeps on making them for her, but the most cherished wooden toy ever created will always be the little wooden sword you presented him with to announce your pregnancy.
kod myth! xavier who would teach his little daughter to dance with her standing on his shoes. he has to lean all the way down to hold her hands, kiss her hand…but it’s all worth it when he sees the smile on her face, as she curtsies for him before jumping into his arms so he can carry and sway her to ‘dance’. he’ll often waltz with you in front of her to give her an idea of how it’s done.
kod myth! xavier who would play-joust with his daughter. she wanted to lift his claymore but was obviously too small for it (she almost pushed it over onto her) so xavier asked his blacksmith to forge a custom blade for his daughter. the blade is dulled and does little damage, but she still loves to spar with him. xavier uses a stick for those fights. he always lets her win.
kod myth! xavier who would let his daughter wear his crown if she asked to, though he hoped the responsibility over this doomed sindersfell would never befall onto her head. he only hoped that he can spend the rest of his days with you and your precious child in a field of flowers, happy and together forever. even now, as he cradled your cooling body in the same field, yet now with the same flowers from a distant before, trampled under pools of blood, once a fond memory torn by war, a once blue heaven stained black, xavier wished for the same. if only he could spend eternity with you. if only he could have given you all his love. but mostly…
if only he ever got the chance to be a father in the first place.
