I love playing with how unnerving/inhuman Arthur can appear. How his eyes are a bright yellow that seem to almost glow in the dark. How his nails are a little too sharp and his hair grows a little too fast. How his right pinky has been claimed by the dreamlands. How he always seems to know a little too much about murder cases.

I love how Arthur has knowledge of things that he shouldn't know. How hes been to the underworld and understands what horrors await after death. How he knows about the different gods and that existence as they knows it is just Azathoth's dream. How he knows of different worlds and that he is the very last Arthur Lester.

I love how he no longer fits cleanly into his world. How his memories dont quite fit. How his mannerisms and habits look wrong to everyone else.

Arthur desperately wants to move on from the past. To go back to a normal life. To be normal. To be human. But, hes seen too much. Experienced too much. Lost too much.

For he has already lived and died here. His life came to an end and he made peace with that. But, he forgets that. Forgets that he is no longer the child of this world.

He is the child of the dreamlands.
