if you leave this kind of comment on any fanfic writer’s work or if you think this shit is okay and isn’t the reason more and more writers are choosing not to share their works with your entitled ass for free anymore, you should be ashamed of yourself.

if you suspect a fic is ai and if that bothers you, quietly close the tap and leave the fic. no one forces you to stay.

I got super worried when people started saying I was a fast writer that I was going to receive complaints like this. So far it hasn't been an issue, but another fic in the starstruck ship was receiving comments like this. A lot of people were sad to see it get deleted.

I don't use ai by the way. I just don't sleep instead.

I got like my first 8 hours of consistent sleep for the first time in a month and a half last night. Most nights while writing I was averaging 3 hours at best.

ALSO I don't post anything unless i have all the chapters finished, because it's not uncommon for me to have an idea in, say, chapter 23 that'll need me to edit something in chapter 3

so instead of editing past chapters people have already read and absorbed every other day to fit by creativity bursts, i keep it all to myself until it's all polished

however, this ai accusing situation bullshit makes me wary to post anything at all, specially because I'd have the whole story ready by the time i do

so i just don't share my stories at all (or at least not for now)

For more context :

« La main de la justice » that Miles is holding usually is associated to royal power, an old symbol of judicial authority in France. But I thought it would make sense to use it here and link it to the corrupted system in AA, which is easily manipulated by those with enough power. The idea was to portray Phoenix as a victim of this corrupted system, that is carried out by Miles who used to blindly follow what he was taught 💔

This is an alternative version of the one I shared on IG. The scale is tipping towards « la main de la justice », I thought it kinda made sense as well hehe

With EVERYTHING related to CSA blowing up rn in politics and as a "justification" for censorship, one thing I don't see anyone talking about is how we make CSA such a taboo topic that even articles arguing for censorship and ID verification refuse to just discuss CSA without literally censoring words in their own headlines. Which, by the way, is pathetic. CSA is a form of child abuse, it's not a special topic to be treated like you can't touch it with a stick. By avoiding just fucking talking about CSA, you make it harder for victims/survivors to talk about their trauma, you make it harder to educate families about child development, sex, and abuse, and you literally contribute to the factors that make children more likely to experience CSA. You don't prevent CSA by avoiding these discussions or worse censoring every piece of content that mentions sex.

Purity culture does nothing to protect children.

Purity culture is why I, a literal victim of CSA, can't even talk about it without platforms suppressing my posts because of banned words.
