Daily Reading: 2 Timothy 2:15
Daily Devo:
When it comes to being confident in who you are in Christ, you don’t have to worry so much about what everyone else is doing. Being apart of community is very important to the Christian faith, but it’s not what secures you. What secures you is your faith in Christ! So remember this when:
1. You’re surrounded by people who aren’t motivated in the same way you are You might be the kind of woman who is working hard to achieve results and wants the same for her friends and family, too. Maybe you’re trying to stay focused on the things of the Lord, or you’re on a mission to reach certains goals with your education and your career…and your family and friends are not. It’s hard to watch people you care about not be interested in improving themselves. At times, when you start to do well, you might even feel a little guilty because they’re not moving forward like you are. When you’re faced with this, don’t stop encouraging them in a graceful way and lifting them up in prayer. Don’t stop reminding of the beautiful truth that Jesus is what they need and they don’t need to settle for anything less. Furthermore, don’t stop running the race. Whether you’re on a mission to take your faith more seriously or make changes to your diet, lead by example. They might not get it right now, but your example just might be the thing that motivates them to chase after what God is telling them to do! So don’t stop because they have stopped. Have confidence in knowing that God sees what you’re doing, and He wants to use you, too!
2. You feel like you’re the only one You might be the only person in your friend group who regularly goes to bible study. You might be the only person in your family who is passionate about the thing soft God. If that’s you, continue to be confident in who YOU are in Christ and what God has called you to do. Don’t let what others are or are not doing keep from running the race God has called you to.
God is the One providing for you future. HE is the One who is going to lead you right where you need to be. Let your faith and confidence in Christ strengthen you to seek His approval more than anyone else.

TAKE NOTE
Twenty One Pilots talking about fans and Switchfoot (x)
So because I’ve experienced that, because I truly do use music in a lot of ways that our fans, fanatics, use our music, you know, I watch them do crazy things or things not totally thought through, or things that are a little left field, and uh I try, we-we both try to look at it, um, at an angle of I understand what they’re doing here. They’re trying- they’re trying- they have no other way to express it.

This is one of the most beautiful versions of Trees I’ve ever heard
how tøp got their name.
“we’ve always been intentional about every aspect of the band, especially the band name. i was studying a play, in that someone made a decision to send out faulty airplane parts during the war and twenty one pilots died. he tries to justify why, he ultimately ends up committing suicide at the end of the play. how we apply it to our band, it’s a constant reminder that you have to make the right decision, even though it may be the hard decision. seems vague, but you’ll be surprised how many times it applies to an individual’s life.
my mom always told me “you just gotta do what you don’t feel like doing.”
that’s just something we live by.” - tyler joseph, november 2012
We are going to get a full version of this soon holy frick
Bless
