I'll take pretty much anything, just don't push any boundaries and be patient! (If you're having difficulty accessing pages on mobile, I suggest trying to copy the link and pasting it into any browser)
Information about me under the cut!
To be transparent, I do have mental illnesses (NPD + other issues) and autism which may influence social interactions.
Hello! You may call me by any name, but Rouge, Elliot, Carlo, and GRW, are names people typically call me!
In terms of creative work, my postings will mostly be Three Body Problem and original characters! My other interests include spy/spy-adjacent media, classic literature, fountain pens, astronomy, interpretations of quantum mechanics, and much more!
Toyhou.se for my OCs!
I'm always happy to talk philosophy with people so feel free to send philosophy related asks even if it's outside of my specializations! My main areas of interest include metaphysics and the philosophy of physics.
Also, I'm always willing to accept music recommendations! My favorite bands include Tricot, Kurrock, Jannabi, and Wings of the ISANG! Music posting tag is #rouge radio!
I have a few side blogs as well:
Three Body Problem Ramblings: @cosmicsociology
Interpretations of Quantum Mechanics OCs: @quantumdetectiveagency
On another note, feel free to correct/educate me about any subject in general so I can better myself! After all, I don't want to remain ignorant and I do try to educate myself whenever I can.
No DNI: I can't stop anybody from perceiving my stuff, but no hard feelings if I block for personal comfort or any other reason.
In celebration of the Children's Day on June 1st in China, Three-Body community's weibo account posted this of main Three-Body characters being 7-year old in school.
Look how adorable they are! Ye Wenjie is about to receive her first message from listener 1379 vis that paper plane. Luo Ji is drawing the solar system. Zhang Beihai is the one who's eager to speak up (not sure if he's asking a question or answering one). I think those are Wade and Yun Tianming on the blackboard in the back of the classroom.
Last but not least, I'm thrilled that the Shiwang agenda is still strong. Every time there's a group art of main Three-Body characters, they are always together in their own little world. Look at them in the back with Shi Qiang falling a sleep, and Wang Miao judging him. That's just so them and so in character LOLLOLLOL. I'm pretty sure after Dashi wakes up, he'd beg Miaomiao to help him catch up after class LOL.
Eagle Nebula Pillars in Infrared from Hubble
Image Credit: NASA, ESA, Hubble, HLA; Processing: Luis Romero Ventura
Explanation: Newborn stars are forming in the Eagle Nebula. They are gravitationally contracting in pillars of dense gas and dust. The intense radiation of these newly-formed bright stars is causing surrounding material to boil away. This image, taken with the Hubble Space Telescope in near infrared light, allows the viewer to see through much of the thick dust that makes the pillars opaque in visible light. The giant structures are light years in length and dubbed informally the Pillars of Creation. Associated with the open star cluster M16, the Eagle Nebula lies about 6,500 light years away. The Eagle Nebula is a satisfying target for small telescopes in a nebula-rich part of the sky toward the split constellation Serpens Cauda (the tail of the snake).
If you saw my latest post and you did not know about how truly poor my mental health can be, then that probably explains a lot about why I am like that haha. HOWEVER, I think that it's easier for me to find a genuine reason to live than it was when I was younger which is good.
Every time I think about killing myself, I have to remember that I have barely scratched the surface of philosophy of physics. I AM OKAY NOW DON'T WORRY, but this is the one and only time I'll publicly talk about this very personal struggle of mine that I've been dealing with for many years. Anyway, my will to live returns when I remember "oh shit there's so much cool philosophy stuff I need to read that I don't understand yet so I need to get a better background by going on side quests."
I am hopeful for once...Listen, it is kind of messed up how dissociation can impact your reading? I think accepting that I probably have DPDR is helpful in that regard so I can be easier on myself.
I'm trying to find a solution to keep up with academics (you can imagine why I have been having academia related crashouts if I've been dealing with a dissociative disorder I didn't know about haha) via audiobooks and reading along with them. It's been quite helpful thus far as it helps my mind slow down and focus so my memory retention on the text improves a bit. It's not a complete solution since there's still some sort of disconnect, but still very helpful.
Addicted to making OCs and storytelling. I love making up new characters and sharing them with people. I can't believe I was so shy with my original work before........I would like to share some of the characters I was shy about prior to showing off my main OC projects now, but Quantum Detective Agency is when my work actually got really good so they need to be reworked severely.
Some sort of...hard sci-fi OC story side quest I was locked in on all morning.
Satoshi's profile is on Toyhou.se and I will link it here with an access key so those without Toyhou.se can read through it if they'd like as I keep my account guest locked for personal reasons.
Hey so. side quest and I also fixed the embed for the songs on Satoshi's profile since I copy and pasted the html code from another character AND FORGOT TO CHANGE THE LINK but it's okay now.
Cannot believe it took me this long for me to write actual original hard sci-fi concepts when I have been fixated on quantum mechanics for some time...However, I have been developing high standards for my work with the philosophical rigor and I still need to do more research for my main OC project about quantum theories (which isn't even sci-fi but more so fiction about science) haha. I feel like writing hard sci-fi requires a lot more rigor than Quantum Detective Agency (aforementioned OC project) if that makes sense.

I avoid shipping discourse for my own personal comfort and I also refuse to use my literature-philosophy degrees to solve fandom related moral dilemmas. Never come to me thinking I'll provide something insightful about it based on my field of studies. This will be literally the only time I will mention shipping discourse on my blog, but I am morbidly curious on how anybody will accommodate for me, the guy who ships quantum theories. Problematic conceptual aversion gap. Problematic PhilPapers paper count gap.
