All the main actors returning to voice their characters

Going to both new and old places seen in the films.

The combat system is amazing.

and the rookie (the players character) is brought back in the IDW Ghostbuster comics.

Just a solid 10/10 game.

Every time I remember that there’s no official Ghostbusters makeup line from any beauty brand, I get sad. :(

No but consider:

Ectoplasm-themed lip gloss. One that’s lightly green and ecto-cooler scented. One that’s pH pink for the psychomagnotheric stuff in the second film.

Bullet lipsticks in a pearly orange shade called Zuul and a matte gray called Vinz.

A (Stay-Put?) setting spray in a cute bottle that smells like marshmallow.

A highlighter palette in the shape of a proton pack and an eyeshadow palette in the shape of the firehouse or Ecto-1.

Ghost trap shaped hair claws.

Little Slimer and Stay Puft beauty blenders that glow in the dark and come in a plastic ghost trap holder. (Two in the box? Eh? Eh?)

A makeup brush set with caution-stripe handles and soft gray bristles.

Maybe a couple nail polishes in a vibrant red (“Receptionist”), ethereal lavender (“Librarian”), and muted nude-pink (“Cellist”, possibly “Client”).

COME ON. The branding is RIGHT THERE.

I love that Ghostbusters stemmed from Dan Aykroyd’s special interest in the paranormal bc the paranormal is one of MY special interests and it makes fic writing and the like so much easier.

all the ghost classifications and behaviors and such just make sense to me bc it’s springboarding off the foundation of mid-late 1800s spiritualism and real-world paranormal research. same language, slightly different dialect.
