Tonight I channeled the olden days of when I worked at the Olive Garden and devoured Zuppa Toscana all day, every day! Kevin has never had it 😱(I didn’t believe him but he insists)

I adapted this recipe from Low Carb Yum (She’s amazing!) and made it slow cooker style because I love me some crock pot recipes.

Ingredients: *1 pound Ground Sausage, Browned *½ small onion chopped *2 cloves garlic, minced *64 fluid ounces chicken broth *1 Package radishes, thinly sliced *10 ounces of chopped Kale *1 cup heavy cream *3 slices cooked bacon chopped *1-2 teaspoons salt adjust to taste *1 Pinch Ground Black Pepper *½ Teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions: *Add broth to the Crock Pot. Turn Crock Pot on low. *Brown sausage with onion and garlic in small pan. Add to crock pot (Oil and all). *Stir in radishes, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, to crock pot and stir. Cook on low for 4 hours. *After 4 hours mix in cream, kale, and cooked bacon. *Cook on high for 1 more hour. *Enjoy!

This was awesome because the radishes take on the taste of the soup but have the texture of potatoes. If I didn’t make it myself I wouldn’t have believed they were radishes.

Guys THIS SHIT WAS AMAZING.

Homemade chicken nuggets and instead of breadcrumbs I used a mixture of almond flour and grated parmesan. Then I pan fried them in a little bit of olive oil.

Meals like this make me love my low carb diet so much.

I also made a dipping sauce out of mayo, ketchup, onion powder, garlic powder, and extra black pepper.

I’m so satisfied. I ate the whole damn thing.

I will always reblog this because it’s the best description of bi-polar I have EVER seen. (Especially to people who don’t understand what mania means. You aren’t HAPPY, you’re very fast.) It was SO important to 15-year-old me to learn that PRINCESS LEIA (whose hair I have envied since age 7, btw) was bi-polar.
