The Story this Far

Because I realized I never did it.–

So this far, the house has taken in five new proxies, Alex Kralie, Tya Maraise, Devin Ramirez, Aspen Varro, and Toby Rogers, to join with the already chosen Natalie Oulette. These people were all chosen differently, for certain things that piqued the interest of Slenderman, as well as their ability to detach from their current lives with ease, becoming nothing more than fictional stories in the eyes of the public.

Alex however, seems to have been picked differently, and his reason for being there? A mystery despite the prodding toward their faceless captor they’ve done, much like the puppet-like state of Toby.

Only days after being brought into his new home, Alex fled, refusing to take shelter in the realm of the Ark, which will erase the residents from the memories of the populace, maintaining their status as fiction- and because of this, people are beginning to remember what he had done. After a failed attempt at suicide, and the gain of a vampire companion, Lucien, Alex was arrested for his crimes. After revealing the full story of his crimes, he was forced to plead insanity, landing him in a mental health center with staff that is less than amiable. On top of The Operator causing his mental state to deteriorate, it seems that he’s blacking out and in that time he can’t remember, doing heinous things, caused by a nasty sentient clot in his blood.

Meanwhile, the remaining proxies were sent on their first task for their master, and upon heading out to do as told, they found that their targets were subjected to the corruption of Oppy’s counterpart, Zalgo. It did not go well…

The staff’s neglect didn’t go unnoticed by either the good among them, or the teenager’s vampire boyfriend. After being bound by the disgusted staff, Alex was tossed in a room to rot with little attention paid to him beyond a ten year old roommate, Isaac. In this state, Alex was not only made delirious by the thing roaming his body, but also bit by a rat. The small wound was allowed to fester, and infection spread and making him ill. When Lucien found him, he and Alex’s therapist, Amanda, quickly uncovered the state of the hospital and its staff to the police, and Alex was rushed to a hospital for treatment of his infection.
