ECW Legend Pitbull Gary Wolf Talks To Tom Brice On Sportzwire Radio!

During the 1990’s, The Pitbulls were one of the most dominating and influential tag teams in professional wrestling. Pitbull # 1 Gary Wolf teamed up with fellow Monster Factor Alum Pitbull # 2 Anthony Durante and for a decade made history at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA. Sadly, Anthony Durante had passed away in 2003, however Gary kept wrestling throughout the years in the hopes for one day to have closure and find a new tag team partner that could meet the credentials of Anthony. WWE LEGEND RHINO TALKS TO TOM BRICE ON SPORTZWIRE RADIO!

Media Alert: NEW YORK, JANUARY 21, 2024 /THOMAS BRICE/-- Sportzwire Radio the #1 global radio station was recently honored to have on WWE legend Rhino former ECW and NWA world champion and the most recent member of the TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Rhino, first rose to national prominence in the original incarnation of Extreme Championship Wrestling otherwise known as ECW. Debuting in mid-1999, the powerhouse took the wrestling world by storm as he destroyed icons like Raven, Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman. Soon, even the highly passionate hardcore fan base of ECW began to take notice of the devastating and impactful “GORE!” Rhino, at CyberSlam 2000 defeated Yoshihiro Tajiri for the ECW Television Championship

Rhino, at ECW’s final pay-per-view, Guilty as Charged 2001, made history. Immediately after The Sandman won the ECW Championship in a grueling matchup, The Man Beast appeared in New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom and pinned his rival to win the title in just one minute, becoming the first competitor to simultaneously hold ECW’s two singles championships.

Rhino, who would debut in WWE in 2001 where he would win the WWE Hardcore Championship and finish #9 in the PWI 500 later that year.

Rhino made his TNA debut in 2005 and at that year’s Bound For Glory, Rhino won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. His GORE-filled career also has included two reigns with the TNA World Tag Team Championship. Rhino in 2015 would return to WWE and on September 11th, 2016, Rhino would win 1/2 of the first ever Smackdown tag-team championships.

Rhino, on October 26th, 2024, was inducted into the TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame in Detroit, Michigan the hometown of the War Machine Rhino.

US AMPUTEE SOCCER COACH JASON FISCINA INDUCTED INTO THE SPORTZIWRE RADIO HALL OF FAME!

Media Alert: NEW YORK, APRIL 18, 2024 /THOMAS BRICE/-- Sportzwire Radio the #1 global radio station was recently honored to induct the newest member of the Sportzwire Radio Hall Of Fame on the head coach of the US Amputee Soccer team and the head coach of the Five Towns College Men's Soccer Team Jason Fiscina.

Jason Fiscina, who just completed his 4th season as head coach of the Five Towns College Men's Soccer team has led the Five Towns Sound to 3 Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Regular Season championships, 1 Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship, and 3 USCAA National Tournament Appearances.

Jason Fiscina, on March 5, 2024 was appointed by the American Amputee Soccer Association as the head coach of the United States Men's National Team.

Jason Fiscina, in addition to this is the Assistant Athletic Director of Five Towns College Athletic Program for Purchasing and Ordering since August 2020 and from 2021-2022 was the Head College of the Five Towns Sound Women's Soccer Team. Jason Fiscina in 2021 was named the USCAA Coach of the Year in Men's Soccer along with in 2021 the Five Towns College Men's Soccer Team finished the regular season ranked #1 in the USCAA. Since taking over as head of the Five Towns College Men's Soccer team on December 14th, 2018 Jason Fiscina has gone an impressive 38-16-7 including 3 wins in the USCAA National Tournament.

The American Amputee Soccer Association has dual missions. One mission is to promote and develop the sport for the benefit of participants with limb differences. The American Amputee Soccer Association looks to grow the sport for juniors and adults and for women and men.

The American Amputee Soccer Association looks to accomplish this through outreach programs at the local levels to help interested players become introduced to the sport, maximize their proficiency, build self-confidence, learn the power of teamwork, and build a strong social network. Our second mission is to select, develop, and train the elite amputee soccer athlete to represent the United States in international competition.

DAN BYRNES TO BE INDUCTED INTO THE SPORTZWIRE RADIO HALL OF FAME!

Media Alert: NEW YORK, FEBRUARY 1, 2024/THOMAS BRICE/– Sportzwire Radio the #1 global radio station is proud to induct into the Sportzwire Radio Hall of Fame Dan Byrnes Monday February 5th at 7:30pm EST.

Dan Byrnes, a 6 foot 6 forward played for the Brooklyn College Kingsmen men's basketball team the first and only team of the City University Of New York Athletic Conference otherwise known as (CUNYAC) in any sport to have played in the NCAA Final Four in 1982.

Dan Byrnes, a Brooklyn College graduate in 1984 played for the Kingsmen from 1980-83 including playing a key role on the 1982 Kingsmen team which finished #3 in the nation along with winning the men's basketball Eastern regional championship by defeating Roanoke College.

The Brooklyn College Kingsmen Men's Basketball Final Four team were inducted into the Brooklyn College Athletics Hall of Fame in June 2020 with the ceremony taking place in December 2022.

The 1981-82 Brooklyn College Kingsmen Men's Basketball team finished the regular season with an 18-8 record defeating #1 ranked the College of Staten Island which despite having a loss in the CUNYAC semifinals helped the team land an at-large bid in the NCAA Division III tournament. The Kingsmen went on to defeat Ithaca College, CSI then Roanoke College to win the Eastern Regional championship at a packed Roosevelt Hall gymnasium.

While the Kingsmen lost to defending National Champion SUNY Postdam by a single point in the semi-final game. The next day the Kingsmen defeated California's Stanislaus State University in overtime to claim the #3 slot nationally.

Paige Palazzolo, also plays goalkeeper for the USA women's futsal team. Paige Palazzolo has played goalkeeper for the Queensboro FC a semi-professional soccer team. Paige Palazzolo currently is the head coach for the Long Island Futsal Academy and also plays goalkeeper for the New York Ecuador women's futsal team.

CHRIS JONES INDUCTED INTO THE SPORTZWIRE RADIO HALL OF FAME!

Chris Jones is also a 7-time XCW world heavyweight champion, 4-time XCW tag-team champion, 3-time XCW International champion, 2-time XCW New Age Champion, former XCW Xtreme Champion, and a 4-time EBW world heavyweight campion.

Chris Jones, in addition was also a 2-time XCW superstar of the year in 2005 and 2008. Chris Jones was also a 2-time Xtreme King winner in 2004 and 2015. Outside of XCW and EBW Chris Jones was the 2023 Lords of Gaming writer of the year which is one of the premier gaming publications in the world.

FIVE TOWNS COLLEGE MENS SOCCER HEAD COACH JASON FISCINA RETURNS TO SPORTZWIRE RADIO!

Jason Fiscina, who just completed his 4th season as head coach of the Five Towns College Men's Soccer team has led the Five Towns Sound to 3 Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Regular Season championships, 1 Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship, and 3 USCAA National Tournament Appearances.

Jason Fiscina, in addition to this is the Assistant Athletic Director of Five Towns College Athletic Program for Purchasing and Ordering since August 2020 and from 2021-2022 was the Head College of the Five Towns Sound Women's Soccer Team. Jason Fiscina in 2021 was named the USCAA Coach of the Year in Men's Soccer along with in 2021 the Five Towns College Men's Soccer Team finished the regular season ranked #1 in the USCAA. Since taking over as head of the Five Towns College Men's Soccer team on December 14th, 2018 Jason Fiscina has gone an impressive 38-16-7 including 3 wins in the USCAA National Tournament.

"It was a great honor once again to have coach Jason Fiscina back on Sportzwire Radio to talk the season that was for our Five Towns College Men's Soccer Team. While it was a season of ups and downs however, the motto of 11 hearts beating as one was what kept the sound on and guided the Five Towns Men's Soccer Team back to the USCAA National Tournament and winning the HIVIAC Regular Season championship.
