I don’t think that I can recover from this.
The entire observable universe squeezed into one image by NASA.

You are the hole in my head You are the space in my bed You are the silence in between What I thought and what I said You are the night-time fear You are the morning when it's clear When it's over you'll start You're my head, you're my heart

Cosplay is rarely captured on anything other than digital. I’m a Polaroid photographer and I’ve always wanted to shoot a cosplayer. So I shot my friend Justin T Marshall in his awesome Kylo Ren get up. Justin has a prop company called Saber Bay and sells custom lightsabers with sound effects and they’re pretty rad. I think with its limitation Polaroid really captures the DIY and Classic aspects of that Star Wars Feel. Especially the Original Trilogy and it has a very old fashioned cinematic quality to it that most cosplay photographs tend not to have because they’re just straight digital with no personality. Which is fine and I get why cosplayers do this. They want to see ALL of the detail in their costume because of all the hard work they did to put it together. While digital may show all the detail, without moody lighting and style I think a lot of the costume loses it’s pahsazz and it comes off as fake looking to an “outsider”, meaning someone who isn’t into cosplay.
