A proof of concept image for a “Personal Hoard” section on a dragon’s profile page. You could fill 5 (or more? there’s room for more) slots with items from the site. This could be a way to expand on a dragon’s personality using the otherwise useless items on the site! And the useful ones, too, like food. They would be inaccessible while in the personal hoard, like they were in your vault. For example, a poet could have Forgotten Poet’s Tools, Intact Parchment, the Scholar battle stone, maybe a dramatic Red Rose. A scientist could have a Golem Gauntlet, Lumen Wiring, a Jar of Slime, and a Lightning Runestone. A dragon obsessed with battle could have armor and a bunch of pointy looking things. A rich dragon could have gemstones. An evil dragon could have bones?? BASICALLY IT’D BE REALLY CUTE and an easy way to really show off a dragon’s personality.

As a fun challenge for you guys, though, reblog this, pick a dragon in your lair and choose what five items they’d have in their hoard. It’s a really fun little character-building activity!

new lair page idea

ok so i’ve been thinking about this a lot and i think i know exactly what i want for the “dragon lair” page. i would love a page with a view like the trading post (kind of an overview, but not totally from the top), but the area matches whichever flight your in with pretty artwork like the coliseum. your lair would be wherever your lair size is at in your flight map; i’m in the everbloom gardens in nature so my lair would be there and then as i expanded my lair and moved to the different areas, my lair “map” would change. then once you’re looking at your lair page you would see sub-clans. each sub-clan would appear as a cave or a cluster of trees or whatever would match your flight and that would be where you could organize your dragons. you have babysitters? there’s an area for them. want your fighters all together? there’s a spot for them. when you click on each sub-clan it would go to a page that looks like what our lair looks like now and there would also be a button for a view all page that looks like our lair now. there could even be a spot for your hoard to make it feel like a true lair. you could choose not to have sub-clans and it would just be a pretty area for your dragons or you could have up to a certain number set by the admins and you could organize them however you want. i know this is a lot of work and it isn’t necessarily a suggestion, this is only what i would love to see if they ever decided to vamp up the lair page.
