Happy Greek Language Day 🥳 with random fact

Did you know Isaac Newton kept notes in Greek?

These notes date to 1661-1665, when Newton was an undergraduate student at Trinity College. Due to the way it is written, the above mentioned notebook was judged ‘Not fit to be printed’. It was condemned to oblivion until 1872, when it was presented to the Library of Cambridge. In 2011 it was digitised and put online by Cambridge University.

As for what he wrote here, Newton was keeping some notes while studying Aristotelian philosophy, mostly keeping definitions of some of Aristotle's concepts. His Greek seems very advanced, it seems to be Koine Greek and his writing style looks old Modern with a few late Byzantine influences, which makes sense.
