To RP? We need more bosses around here!
Yeeep. I did it once and I actually miss him, but I totally want to. Just gotta wait until my week is up.Â

Is everyone going to be alright?
He frowned as she spoke. âBecause at a certain point in your life, people stop having the ability to force you to do anything. When this happens, instead of being forced, you can be shown and doing becomes a choice. I chose.â He shrugged.
A pokedex has never been and would never be as amazingly useful as a dictionary. It didnât matter how great the pokedex got to be, noting could beat a book. Except a damned good game of cards. âSo glad you finally agree with me. No, definitely not boring, nothing with as much sass as you could be boring.â That was the only compliment this girl might ever get, she better savor it. âIâll bring whoever I like into it, because Gold has proven himself an annoyance so many times itâs not even funny. Now why on earth would I insult Silver, heâs the only one of the three of you I can stand for very long. Not everyone likes to hear your opinions, Lyra, you should start keeping them to yourself around certain people. It might cause you less pain.â He smirked, pointing to her red cheeks.
Lyra crossed her arms and looked away. "Still sounds like force to you since you're not peachy keen. I bet you have a good sense of humor," she said. Adult or not, Lyra wasn't going to change.Â
The girl managed to smile at Ari which felt strange. "Wow, Ari handing out a compliment. I bet your co-workers wouldn't be too happy about that, now would they?" she said, trying a different approach. She thought of an insult or two, but maybe she could still have her fun without having so much pain attached. "I guess annoyance is just a relative term since he's really a great friend and some people just can't appreciate that," she stopped when he mentioned Silver. Something formed in her brain, but she stopped it. Her words might have been insulting toward Silver. He has come a long way and she didn't want to insult that. So maybe it was best not to say anything about Silver. Nothing could be right.Â
But she had just learned to express her opinions. Yeah, she could always tell Gold anything on her mind, but recently, after everything that has happened, she wanted to share her opinions with everyone. She gave an awkward smile. "I guess everyone can't appreciate them," she said as she gently massaged her cheeks before realizing the pain was too much. "You didn't have to hit hard though."
Is everyone going to be alright?
Ri gave a mock gasp. Or was it real? The kid actually agreed with him, so sue him. âI havenât let my coworkers take anything from me, they simply showed me how unprofessional it could be to have much of a sense of humor. Iâd like to see you deal with Proton and Petrel on a regular basis and come out unscathed.â He rolled his eyes at the other. Obviously this girl had never seen a dictionary. He pulled from his pocket a tiny, travel-sized dictionary and found the entry for the word âladyâ. âLady, a woman who is refined, polite and well spoken. hmm..â He read through the rest of the definition, âNo, thereâs not a thing in here about any of that.â He flipped back to an earlier section, âAh, hereâs one about you. Brat, a child, especially one who is ill-mannered or unruly. It describes both Gold and yourself perfectly.â He ignored the last bit, if he hadnât, heâd wind up hitting her again. As it was he was already getting hateful looks from passersby.
Lyra smiled and chuckled. "Show? How interesting. Apparently grownups forget the word force and replace it with show. I don't see why you just call it what it is," she said, shrugging her shoulders. Her attention seemed to peak at the mention of Proton and Petrel, but that might have been at the lovely P sound or the possible familiarity of them.Â
Then Mr. Know-it-all brought out a dictionary. A DICTIONARY. I mean she has a pokedex that actually has useful information, but a pocket dictionary was too much. She frowned at the solution. She could argue all day with this bastard/bitch, but it was rather hard to argue that. "Fine, I'm not a lady, but that just means I'm not boring. And don't you bring Gold into this. Or Silver. I'm not ill-mannered. I just have opinions and I am not afraid to give them to you." Lyra was trying to play it safe now. The next one might be a black eye. She didn't want to explain that to anyone because then lectures would happen.Â

NO BEING SORRY
Is everyone going to be alright?
âChild I havenât hand a sense of humor in years, my darling coworkers made sure of that.â Excluding Archer. She actually liked Archer, it was the other two she could hardly stand and being around them for so many years had robbed her of any real sense of humor. âYouâve done a lot to hurt me actually, not physically mind you, thereâs no chance in hell you could hurt me physically, but other ways.â Another snort. âNo, you are not a lady, a lady has manners and knows how to respect her elders. A lady minds her own damned business and stays out of where she shouldnât be. A lady knows when to hold her tongue. You, my dear, are no where near being a lady.â He was almost tempted to hit her a second time, for her last comment. No, scratch that. Ri backhanded her this time, giving her a nice twin to go along with the first red mark. âI rather like the added strength, though I didnât need it.â
Lyra crossed her arms, pouting her lip. "Well that much is true. And besides, you don't really let your coworkers have anything of yours unless you let them. By the sound of it, looks like you gave it up." Wow, Lyra was not use to saying anything helpful or deep toward the enemy. She needed to clean her tongue after this. "No, you obviously doesn't know what a lady is. A lady is simply a girl who stands up for what she believes in and doesn't let adults like you tell her what to do. She doesn't let evil people like you pollute her." Lyra stood with her hands on her hip until the back of the hand struck her. This time, the lady was prepared as she stood her ground and put her hand on her hips. "It's still not enough to get rid of me. All that strength means nothing if you got a weak will and well, compared to mine, yours is pretty small even as a man."
Is everyone going to be alright?
He felt much better, a smirk gracing his features. Yes, much better indeed. She was lucky he hadnât been carrying around something hard to hit her with or otherwise sheâd have more thank a red head print. âI gave you time to give a proper response and all you did was mouth off to me little girl. I think my actions were rather justified, especially since you should know how much I despise your little jokes.â He snorted and then full out laughed at her. A lady? This kid? Never. âI havenât seen a lady around yet. Youâre just a brat.â The smirk of before was wiped away quickly as she frowned and glowered at Lyra, âNeither, for you. It should always be terms of respect. Though I doubt youâve got an ounce of that in your pathetic little body.â
Lyra huffed, realizing yeah she did go a bit too far with the ugly comment. She would have felt the same way, but she threw that thought away because the very idea she would ever be close to Ari in any way ever was a disgusting thought that she banished from every knocking again. "Well forgive me if I'd thought a switch in gender might have given you a sense of humor. Justify? It's not like I did anything to hurt you. You didn't have to go and hit me." Lyra really wanted to grab the pokeballs and do it that way, but it was best not to make this too dramatic. "I am certainly a lady and I am not a brat. Just because you think you're almight with your little gang of Rockets doesn't mean you're not a brat yourself." Lyra thought about playing it nice and safe but geez genderbend. "So Ari, how does it feel to be a man? Aside from the manly PMS."
Is everyone going to be alright?
rocket-bitch:
She did not go there. She. Did. Not. Ri did his best to not lose his temper, he really did. But she was one of two children that he absolutely despised for two reasons; they hung out with his son and taught him not to use his manners and they messed with Team Rockets plans. He gave her his best fake smile and raised the un-pocketed hand, striking the girl with an open palm. âI donât understand what it is with people and trying my temper. First Proton and now you, you two really do need a better hobby.â Ri thought it was a shame he didnât have his nails at their normal length, they would have left nice little marks on her face.
Wow, Ariana really need to chill out, but that wasn't going through Lyra's mind as she stumbled to the ground, the red staining her cheek as she rubbed it. She stared at him for a while before standing again. "Wow, Ariana. You need a chill pill since you must be pmsing even though you're a man now. But you didn't need to hit me! I guess even as a man, you can't take a joke from a kid," Lyra said, pouting her face. She was honestly surprised. "And don't you know it's rude for a man to hit a lady." Honestly, she thought that would get her through, but nope. Lyra wasn't getting any free hits with this. She was thankful none of the boys she knew would do something like heit her like he just did. "Or is it Ari now?"
Is everyone going to be alright?
rocket-bitch:
Okay, no. Ri extracted one hand from a pocket, dangerously close to smacking sense into the child. He just let it sit at his side just in case. âIâm not dreaming, if I were, you wouldnât have a clue as to who I was.â He frowned. âOr donât you? Because you not knowing would simply make my day.â Ri stopped tapping his foot, heel grinding into the dirt.
Lyra knew she was treading deep water, but this was just too fun. The entire day she was freaked out by all this genderswitching. It's really strange when your friends have high pitched voices all of the sudden or they feel like scaring you with their manly voices. Of course, when this "stranger" assumed she had no idea, Lyra stopped her smug grin for a second before she put it up again. "Well, we certainly want someone like you to have their day better. You seem like you're grumpy enough so making your day would just make that face uglier."Â
Yeah, she went there.Â
Is everyone going to be alright?
rocket-bitch:
He stepped back, giving the other room to get up. Then he realized just WHO it was heâd run into. Fuck, of course it would be someone he knew and didnât really care much for. âDo you ever watch where youâre going?â He asked accusingly. If he had thought about it, he could have acted different and sheâd have been none the wiser. Oh well.
Lyra had finished brushing off the back of her legs when she stopped, stood straight, and stared into the manâs eyes, glaring with an angry pout. âI do know you, but I forget your name. Sometimes itâs so hard to remember the unimportant things,â Lyra said, poking her cheek with her first finger and then shooting a coy glance at him, almost smiling.Â
Huff, Ri put his hands in his pocket, glaring at the other as she stood. Did she really just call him unimportant? âExcuse you, Iâm one of the most important people youâll ever meet, brat.â Ri was tempted to kick the child back down, but that would be close to uncalled for so he settled for tapping his foot on the ground.
"Nah, you must be dreaming that because I'm really good at names and you're just not coming up in my head. I know a lot of important people, so if you're not popping in the important section, then I guess it just wasn't worth the time remembering." Lyra looked at his foot and took a few steps back. Best to have some room to move in case the teasing turned violent. Now, Lyra wasn't completely sure who this was, but she was 98%, but it wasn't like she was going to spout a name and be completely wrong.Â
Is everyone going to be alright?

Today was a strange day. She tried calling two of her friends, but all she got was deep voices saying no in a frightingly panicked voice. There wasnât a lot of people on the road today and if she did see someone, they gave her strangest look as they patted their chest or touched their butt. Lyra was lucky to be unaffected by the phenomena.Â
Ri waltzed along the road, for once in everyday clothes since he had shopping to do and heâd be damned if this change was going to keep him from doing that. He grumbled to himself and slouched, not used to being so tall and trying to avoid the looks of several females. In all his trying to avoid other people, he managed to stumble into the friend of his son.
Well, that was quite brilliant when the man rushed into her and sent her to the ground. Lyra rubbed her eyes as dirt trailed from her elbows. She looked up at the man, slightly angry and mostly apologetic. She stood and dusted herself off before looking at the older man. "I'm sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going," she said. Sue her if the whole messed up mess was distracting. Lyra couldn't really stop staring at the man. It was like she knew him and that was a very important fact.Â
