Sober

I am a sober drug addict that has an undying love for needles. I feel so out of place without my drug of choice. Its strange how I have to constantly remind myself of all the bad it brought while having intense cravings for it that almost convince me that just a little couldn't hurt. Well, just a little at the start turned me into a junkie a year later, so maybe I dont have as much self control as I think I do. I live and try to act normal, but even dream land brings sweet dreams of drug use and a fast life. All of which I've left behind. And sleepless nights I hate the most because why should I toss and turn so tired and restless when a prick and plunge could make me wired and fearless. So another day sober, make that number 42, each a struggle that gets easier then harder. It all ends the same though. Either back to the dope game or a life committed to sober. Either way game over.
