chadwickboseman It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman. 

Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV. 

⁣A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. ⁣⁣

It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther. ⁣He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side. ⁣

The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time. ⁣⁣

sonny and you had been friends for a couple years. 

he was one of the first people who messaged you after news of your signing to the spurs women’s team broke out, and he also just happened to be the first person you met when you walked into hotspur way on you first at the club.you both hit it off as soon as you met. 

you remember the day quite vividly actually. you had just walked into the training center in enfield and you had heard a voice from behind you say “hey, aren’t you the new women’s team signing?”. you immediately turned around and saw sonny’s face. you were absolutely shocked, to say the least. you laughed nervously and extended your hand, “yeah. hi, i’m (y/n)”. he shook your hand and replied back saying, “i’m heungmin, but most people call me sonny.” your flustered face grew redder after hearing him saying his nickname. you knew everyone called him “sonny”, but there was something about when he said it, you found really endearing. the both of you stood in the reception of the of the training center for a little longer than you both should have, getting lost in your introductory conversation. he told you about the club and what you could possibly be looking forward to and how nice everyone is at hotspurs way. it was only until sonny received a phone call from dele and search party of your new teammate that was sent out to get you coming towards you, that the both of you had come to the sudden realization that you were late for practice. with hasty goodbyes being said and phone number quickly exchange, you both part ways and head to training. you were looking forward to your future at the club, and your friendship with sonny.
