“I don’t even know,” Richard laughed, eyes fond, “Since he threw all his meds out, Eds’ been going apeshit on the regular and Bill follows because he’s a dumbass. Losers stick together or whatever.” His expression turns sour and Boris doesn’t need to ask. “Anyway, let’s hit the road, Vladislav.”

STORIS SPOOKY CHALLENGE!
This challenge, however scary, is actually quite funny! With the help of some trusty, ominous quotes, you’ll be asked to write a fic for our favorite pair of UFOs on the theme of Halloween and/or all the horror you can imagine!
The rules are simple;
- Your fic must be 500 words minimum. You can go over that number, even far far over if you’ve got the ideas, but 500 is already a damn good start!
- Your fic must contain a quote chosen between the few you can find here. You can slightly alter it if need be, but do try to keep the essence of it!
- Your fic can either tell the story of a young Stan and Boris or of the two adults they will become. - Your fic must be posted on AO3 (tagging us four on your work) or tagged StorisSpookyChallenge on tumblr. It is also welcome to send a DM to one of the mods to tell us about the arrival of your ghostly baby.
- Your fic will not be read if it is tagged as follows: Rape Non/Con and/or Underage. It is a personal choice and we would appreciate very much if your work didn’t contain such elements.
- Your fic must be posted (and we should be alerted of its existence) before Friday 1st of November.

Pairing: Stanley Uris/ Boris Pavlikovsky
Fandoms: It/The Goldfinch
Summary: It had been 212 days since Stan’s normal routine. The sounds of his alarm clock waking him up for school, putting on his school uniform and getting ready to greet the day, a soft smile on his face. But now, Stan didn’t sleep. It wasn’t safe. No telling who or what could pray on him while he slept.
A/N: if you spot all the walking dead references you win my love and also this is my entry for the storis spooky challenge but its not that spooky (horror writing isn’t my specialty)

One month into the Storisverse
October 27th 2019
Storis Fam! One month ago the first Storis fic was written by Cat and the Postcards & Hummingbirds AU came to life.
For us it seems like forever and we’re really touched to see people falling in love with these boys as much as we did.
We would like to thank all of you for the support you gave us by following this blog, reblogging our posts, reading our work and even by creating your own material. This is why we’re organizing here all the 19 works on AO3 listed as having Boris Pavlikovsky/Stanley Uris as a ship. It’s been a month and with the collective effort of us and some of you that decided to produce your own work we already have 55,125 words of Storis content!
Also, we would love to interact with you more! Please feel free to leave comments, reviews, opinions, ideas, etc in our ask boxes or on our fics!
We hope to have you all around for a long time from now on and may the Storis family grow bigger.

Ever since Stan’s gotten a full-time job as an accountant, he’s come to value his sleep, but being roused by Boris at half past three in the morning is more than worth the dark circles and two extra cups of coffee in the morning.

Boris gifts Stanley a knife for his seventeenth birthday. He doesn’t wrap it up in any frilly wrapping, instead he hands it to Stan in a nonspecific carrier bag. It’s weird because you only get carrier bags when you buy something from a store and the few times he’s seen Boris part ways with his money he holds his purchases in his hands, or stuffs them in his backpack. So where he got the bag is unknown. The Pavlikovsky residence also doesn’t have any. Boris does look at him expectantly though. Stan knows that look on him, he’s trying to hide his anticipation because he’s trying too hard to keep his face neutral and unbothered and ends up doing the exact opposite. It’s an antsy expression his eyes dart from Stanley’s hands then straight back to his face, a weird nervous energy.

There are a few benefits in living and sharing your bed, and your heart Stan has to admit, with a literal mobster, but the strange schedules and work hours are not one of them. When Stan leaves in the morning, Boris is either already out or he’s just arrived and he’s exhausted, so sleepy that he barely takes his clothes off before dropping in their bed like a dead weight. That doesn’t leave a whole lot of time for fun activities to do on a mattress, but apparently, Boris isn’t picky and a desk, instead of a bed, will be just as adequate.
