❝Lost in the rock and roll
Got lost in a promise of a love I never know
Shadows chase me far from home
I remember when my heart was filled with gold
And you know I've been burned
I've been burned I've been burned
You've seen me lose control
It's not worth it's not worth it's not worth
My soul...❞

@spyromultimuse [gavin] asked; "If you're going to bite you need to put some effort into it."
bite me! prompts
There were ways in which he could react to that, ranging in severity from lying to self-incrimination. In truth, the snapping of his jaw had been an involuntary reflex, triggered by a commination of exhaustion, frayed nerves and a lack of distance, especially given that he had purposefully jumped down a well to get here. Only to find himself standing across from what appears to be a dragon, trying to serve him coffee, at that.
No purple scales, though. Curious.
"I hear you, it's just... I'd rather not." Primarily for the fact that the difference between a warning nip and a full on bite in his book was whether or not he envenomed his target, causing paralysis. "...Why are you brewing coffee? Down here?"
Gavin crouched down to Miguel's height, observing the being up close. "Brewing coffee is a part of my specialty." He explained, soon allowing his tail to grab a hold of the mug and using his hand to pour coffee into the mug itself. "Us dragons gotta eat and drink day to day, don't we?" He smiles softly.

Hunter was only a cub when his parents told him he was old enough to be on his own.
You don't need us to guide you through this.
Those words rang out inside his head. He has never seen his parents ever since that day. He carried a bow and arrow, the one he made at such a young age. It wasn't a perfect bow and arrow. It was made with flimsy wood, vines, and leaves along with flimsy vines that he tried his absolute best to turn into the strings for his bow and arrow. That was the first time he ever made a bow and arrow at the age of seven years old.
The sounds of leaves crunching underneath his paws as he ran on all fours, nearly sounding out of breath. The sound of a large predator snarling chasing right after him, Hunter learned very quickly that it's survival of the fittest. Circle of life, etc. He was smart, always finding a way to throw predators off his tail.
At the age of fourteen years old, the one time he wasn't ready, the one time he let his guard down after he found a watermelon, he cracked the watermelon open with just a dagger that he made himself with his bare paws and he bit into the watermelon. He didn't hear the sounds of a predator sneaking up on him from behind until the sound of a branch snapped right behind him. He dropped the rest of the watermelon which splattered across the ground as he tried to jump out of the way but the pressure of being pinned down sent a primal instinct in him.
He let out a loud snarl, using his claws to scratch at his enemy but that didn't phase the opponent at all. He felt the predator's claws digging right into his arms as a loud pained snarl escaped his mouth but he pushed right through the pain. He didn't know what he was thinking, but he wasn't thinking in this very moment. He grabbed that dagger he made, pushing the dagger right into his opponent's chest.
He ignored the loud pained sound coming out of the predator's mouth as he then used his strong legs, kicking the predator right off him.
He breathed heavily, putting in an arrow of his bow and arrow before pulling the string back and letting go of the string. The arrow hit the predator right in the throat as he watched the predator slump forward, hitting the ground. Lifeless.
The adrenaline runs through Hunter's veins as shaky breaths escaped through his mouth. Once the adrenaline crashed, he landed on his rear once he processed what he has just done. That was his very first kill by his own paws and weapons. What has he done? He let out a broken laugh, running a paw over his injured arms.
Soon, he was able to find a way to patch his arms up but the fur never grew back. He scavenged and foraged, looking for any sort of food that didn't involve eating meat. He had always eaten fruits, vegetables, anything he can get his paws on. He did come across arm gauntlets, no, some sort of bracelets and they were long enough to cover the scarred arms. He didn't want anybody to know that his fur never grew back in those particular areas.
At the age of seventeen years old, he came across the professor and Elora's place. He was originally gonna steal food from their place but that obviously backfired on him when he bumped right into a chair, causing him to trip over his own tail and the sound alone woke up the professor and Elora. He went into a fight or flight mode when he made eye contact with the two of them but the two of them didn't seem afraid of him. Considering he was in front of the refrigerator, the professor must have understood why he was in their place. The way the professor gently reassured him that he wasn't in trouble, that if he had just wanted food, he could have asked and they would've graciously given some food to him to make sure he eats.
That was also the night the professor and Elora took him in. Sure, they let him stay whenever he'd like which wasn't often. He'd only stay and spend time with them during the day but when night comes, he would leave and he had a feeling that Elora and the professor figured he had a home to go to so of course he didn't want to worry them so he kept it all to himself. Both Elora and the professor were the only ones who were very kind to him and as time went on, he got used to their company. He's known them for seven years now.
All of that changed when he met Spyro and Sparx. As time even went on, he got to meet the other dragons but he always kept his distance from the other dragons, mostly because he was still cautious of them but he was still kind. He also didn't want to bother anybody but he finds himself getting along quite well with Todor since he and Todor has something in common. Archery.
"No, I mean...a little bit cold but the fur's somewhat helping me keep warm." Hunter murmured, letting out an awkward chuckle. "Don't worry about me, alright? It's not like I'm gonna get sick." He paused.
THIS IS THE LAST TIME IM ANIMATING SPYRO PROBABLY???? this and the other one were for a MAP, i'm finished w it now.
Trying to get the hang of using the camera tool in clip studio, might've gone a little overboard lmao. I SHOULD have set the first background up for a parallax, didnt think of it until afterward. i found a neat way to do that w 2 camera folders though, i'll be using it for a future animation.
