God, I cannot wait to go on vacation with my wife, kid and dog. Been alone at work for 2 months prior to my days off and I am just so exhausted.

And my fucking colleague had the guts to be 'ah, isn't it good that we all returned right before your vacation, so it wouldn't get cancelled?' I just wanted to snap him in half really.

Like, not faulting anyone for getting sick, needing surgery and like going on their planned vacations but don't get cocky as if you're the saviour when I was the one doing all of that shit on my own.
