2009 - The Rockford Thunder of National Pro Fastpitch played an exhibition game in which they dressed in the vintage uniforms of the Rockford Peaches. The Peaches were a women’s professional baseball team who played from 1943-1954 in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL). The team was made famous by the 1992 film “A League of Their Own.”
