This Is totally not a Pikmin it’s a floof little guys that sleep in flowers or various other plants like hollow logs or sometimes abandoned dens. they are nocturnal little guys that eat bugs and do little guy things, they collect all of the dropped and forgotten things left behind by people in the forests and meadows they live in, because of this they can often be found in areas people frequent like campsites, near beaches and lakes or parks. They reuse the things they collect and make tools and gadgets as well as decorative stuff like trash sculptures, art or small furniture items.
Floofs are social creatures and like to live in communities usually consisting of 100-200 Floofs these communities are often made into a village of floofs as they have a strong need for connection, Floofs often build villages out of any plat material thst can find as well as scraps from lost objects left behind, Floofs love making things and they value things like sharing, working together as a group and learning from and helping other Floofs but also really like to learn and figure things out on their own. Floofs.
Though floofs eat and hunt bugs bugs they also eat berries, seeds and nectar. Floofs often search for food in big packs of 50-60 Floofs at a time. These packs often go out together in search of food to bring back to the community while the remaining floofs stay behind to defend the village.
Floofs do not have individual roles within the village instead they have a rotation of responsibilities that pass from floof to floof one nigh a floof could go out hunting and gathering and the next night that same floof could be guarding the village or tending to a wounded floof.
Floofs do however have individual identities, after a floof is born they have a short period of time to find a name for themselves most floofs name themselves after their favourite thing like Floofs could name themself after their favourite plant like bramble, Berry, twig, rose or a floof could name themselves after their fur colour like blue, yellow, green, pink, some floofs make names by combining these two ideas like Ice blue, Mossy green, Red berry the only thing that matters to a floof when choosing a name is thst its unique to the floof choosing the name.
Floof reproduction when a floof is ready to have a baby floof the leaf sprout on their head will grow into a bulb and when the bulb blooms it turn into a flower and will drop a seed the floof will then tend to the seed planing it in the Earth for around 3-4 months the floof will help the seed grow. Once the seed is fully grown a baby floof will pop out of the ground from there the parent floof shall raise the baby floof until it grows into an adult floof in 5-6 years, thought the time a baby/child floof is with the parent floof is short when they reach adulthood the parent floofs do not abandon their children they instead tech the floof how to be independent and because floofs value community Floofs often do still live close to their parent floof even when they are an independent floof.
Floofs do reproduce asexual however floofs do often pair or even group together with partner Floofs and will build a family together as well, a floof choosing to make a family with other floofs or chosing to make family alone is entirely personal preference, some Floofs like to have baby foofs together some floofs do not and Floofs in floof villages don’t care either way.
Floofs can come in a wide range of colours any coulour of the rainbow can be the colour of a floof, however the flowers that bloom on a Floofs head often will mimic the environment of where a floof seed was planted due to the nutrients of the soil and connection to any nearby plants, a floof that was planted in a rose garden will bloom to have a rose like flower on its head, the colour of the flower can also be in a wide range some floofs have flowers thst are of differnt colour to their bodies some Floofs have flowers that are the same or similarly coloured to their bodies.
