Itâs been a while, huh? I feel like itâs been years since Iâve posted before the whole âthis page is deadâ⊠my apologiesâa lot has happened. A LOT!
And for the last two years I havenât been able to write. But I feel inspired and I donât want to let that go away again. So honestly, I want to resume my daddy au stuff, but not gonna lie Iâve been out of touch with the k-pop world for the last couple years. But I grew attached to my characters and want to make them grow. But should I continue posting here or switch to AO3? Help me decide đŹđŹ
If it wasn't obvious by my lack of posting that I was going to quit this blog--here's the official announcement. I know I have a lot of unfinished works and maybe I'll finish them, but I won't be posting them on this page.
Though I have tried to post a couple things, Tumblr has found a reason to hide my posts due to "content" and I'm not fighting them anymore. PLUS, people have been reporting some of my older works. Why? I don't know.
So by end of the year, I will be removing all my written content and moving it to AO3 where I may or may not update. But, I will be trying to make new (maybe not kpop) fanfics for anime and stuff. So there's that.
Thank you for the years y'all have been with me since I started writing. And I hope I can work on new things next year.
Happy Birthday to Monsta Xâs multi-talented leader, Shownu! There is so much I want to say, but I just donât know how to express it all. Thank you for all your hard work and for everything you do. Thank you for putting a smile on my face and making me feel loved. Monsta X and Monbebes are so lucky to have you and we truly appreciate all that you do. Have a wonderful birthday filled with love, delicious food, and wishes.
Making Up With Mom [Hyunwoo, Hoseok, and Minhyuk]
Hyunwoo
When Melly didnât come home the first night, Minsoo didnât care. He knew she was at his auntâs home. After getting chewed out by both his parents that day, he didnât care if his mom never came back. In fact, that night he wished she never walked back into the house again. Something he would regret very fast.
Several days went by and it had only been Hyunwoo and Minsoo everyday in the house. There was a tension so heavy that Minsoo couldnât wait for his suspension was over. The two didnât talk, Hyunwoo took off work to make sure his son stayed home during his suspension. Minsoo spent most of the time in his room or in the home gym to kill time between the studies with the tutor his parents hired. His mind did go to his mom periodically, but he never bothered asking his dad about her. She would show up when she showed up for all he knew.
Hyunwoo had insisted that Melly spent some time away from the house, so Melly and Yejin decided to take a sister vacation to Jeju. It had been their third day they went out to Seobin, Udo. After their beach day, they took a ferry back to Jeju and called for a taxi to go back to their hotel. Neither of them knew they were getting into the back seat of a highly intoxicated driver. The driver hit the gas and began rambling on about his life problems. Melly and Yejin panicked as they reached for their seat-belts to buckle up. Yejin screamed at him to stop the car as they flew down the road. The light was red on their side, but the driver didnât make any attempt to stop. Melly noticed how he began to swerve to oncoming traffic and she undid her seat-belt. She jumped into the passenger seat as she tried to speak over the driver and her sister before she yanked the steering wheel sending the car in the opposite direction. The car spun on the slick road before it collided with a pole. Melly flew against the passenger door, head hit the dashboard and she was unconscious. Yejin let out a scream as she tried to move her arm but was crushed by the drive side back door that had caved in partially due to the impact of the pole. The driver slouched against the steering wheel unmoved and soundless.
That night, Hyunwoo and Minsoo were fast asleep when Hyunwooâs phone woke him. He answered it to hear a panicked Yugyeom on the other line. Hyunwoo shot up in bed, âWhatâs wrong, Yugyeom?â
âItâs Yejin and Melly! Theyâve been rushed to the hospital. A car accident or something Yejin said,â his words were going a mile a minute, âshe said Melly took a hard hit and their driver died. Iâm getting the kids and Iâll come get you and Minsoo.âÂ
Hyunwoo hung up in a daze as he slipped out of bed. He walked towards Minsooâs bedroom half hoping this was all just some nightmare. He knocked on the door before he opened it, âMinsoo-Minsoo!â
Minsoo shot up from his sleep, âThe hell dad!â He hissed as he glared at his fatherâs figure. He noticed the ill look on his dadâs face and his anger shrank, âWhatâs up?âÂ
âItâs your mom. Sheâs hurt...â
Minsooâs stomach sank. He didnât hear whatever else his dad was telling him. He looked down at his hands as he thought about how he wished his mom didnât come home. He was getting his wish and he wanted so much to take it back. Minsoo felt like his heart was being ripped out of him as his dad pulled him out of bed. He squeezed his eyes shut as he silently wished that his mom was okay.Â
By the time the two families arrived to the hospital, Melly had awaken. She was sitting up in bed with a bandage wrapped around her head and one around her arm that had been sliced by the window when it shattered. Yejin sat beside her with a cast on her left arm that was broken from the car impact into the pole.Â
The hospital door swung open, âMOM!â Minsoo was the first one inside. He was panting hard from running through the hospital to get to the room. His eyes were red as they frantically sought for his mom. Seeing his mom, he stumbled over to her bed. She gave him a soft smile and said nothing as she held out her good arm. Minsooâs eyes watered as he collapsed on the bed beside her and hugged her tightly. âIâm sorry. I love you. Iâm so sorryâ he sobbed.Â
Melly crinkled her nose in an attempt to stop her own tears, but failed. She rubbed his head and pressed a quick kiss on him. She felt a hand gently touch her hair and she looked up to see Hyunwoo standing beside her with a relieved look. She flashed him a smile as she took the time to comfort their son.Â
Upon returning home, Minsoo waited on her hand and foot. She was stuck at home for a few more days and Minsoo, though was supposed to be in school, was excused to tend to his mom. He poured a cup of coffee and began to make breakfast when he saw his dad reach for the cup. Minsoo swatted his hand with the wooden spoon and held it up at him threatening, âThatâs for mom not you.â
âWell, thatâs harsh. You could have poured me a cup toâ Hyunwoo pouted as he grabbed for his own mug.Â
âGet injured and then we can talk. Otherwise, youâre on your own, old man.âÂ
Melly stood outside the kitchen hidden from view as she listened to her husband and son. She pressed her hand to her mouth to keep from laughing out loud as she snuck off back to her room where she was served breakfast in bed.Â
Hoseok
Jinhee was the first one up the morning after she snuck out of the house. She turned off her alarm clock before it went off and climbed out of bed. She went for her phone, but stopped remembering how she had left it in the hands of her parents. She took in a breath as she tried to work up the courage to face her mom. Jinhee brushed her teeth and grabbed her slippers before she descended the stairs to the kitchen where she heard her mom singing a song in French.Â
Alisha was always the first one up to make breakfast and pack the lunches. She heard the sound of a clearing voice as she sang. Alisha looked back and noticed Jinhee awkwardly holding her arms against herself as if trying to hide herself.Â
Jinheeâs heart felt like it was going to collapse in on itself or explode. She looked up at her mom nervously expecting anger, but Alishaâs face revealed no emotions. âCan we talk?â Her voice was rough from just waking up.Â
Alisha turned off the burner as she pointed to the barstool for Jinhee to sit. She grabbed her cup of hot tea and poured a glass of orange juice for Jinhee. She stood across the island and handed Jinhee her glass as she murmured a thank you. âI heard you and your dad talked last night. I donât plan to lecture you a second time if that what you expect.âÂ
Jinhee looked up at her with wide eyes, âItâs not that I wouldnât deserve it. Iâm really sorry for scaring you last night. I honestly didnât think how that would look to you when you couldnât find me.âÂ
âWhat would you do if your child snuck out to go to a party without your permission?â
Jinhee looked at her mom in confusion, âSpank them? Ground them for life? Lock them in a tower like Rapunzel.âÂ
That last one got her mom laughing hard. She couldnât suppress her smile, âThatâs what I always said when I was younger.â There was a twinkle in her eyes, âI snuck out when I was your age--â
Jinhee let out a loud gasp, âYou snuck out of Grannyâs home and survived?â
Alisha was taking a sip from her coffee and had to stop herself from spewing it out of laughter. âRight! Mom about killed me. When I became an adult myself, I watched how parents let their kids walk all over them. I used to say, my children would end up hating me if they pull stuff like that. However, I now believe spanking doesnât fix the problem. It enforces a fear that I donât want. I want you girls to be able to come to me and your father and talk to us. I love your Granny, but growing up we had no open communication. I donât want that with us.â
Jinhee smiled as she reached out and took her momâs hand, âWe wonât tell you everything--â
âDonât I know.â
âBut, weâll tell you what is important. Youâre a great mom and dad is an amazing guy. We are grateful that we have you two as our parents. And I know with what I did last night was terrible. I am so sorry for making you cry and making you panic about my well-being. I shouldnât have gone to the party, but I was being--â she stumbled on her words.
âA rebellious teenager?â
âA rebellious teenagerâ Jinhee agreed in giggles.Â
Alisha put her hand in her pocket, pulled it out, and placed Jinheeâs phone on the counter, âYou left this downstairs.â
âI know. I grounded myself for a month... or longer if need be.â
Alisha shrugged, âYou can only leave the house for school and to pick up groceries. You can text your friends, but canât hang out with them outside of school for a month. Thatâs the punishment.â Jinhee took her phone and smiled at her mom as she nodded in agreement.
Hoseok headed down to the kitchen to greet his wife when he saw Alisha and Jinhee working together in the kitchen. Alisha was preparing the lunch boxes while Jinhee attempted to make breakfast with her momâs constant instruction. He smiled at the entrance as he watched the way they worked and talked and laughed.Â
Jinhee looked to see her dad and she grinned, âMorninâ dad! Did you know mom had her first boyfriend was when she was 11!âÂ
Alisha swatted her with the wooden spoon lightly, âYou werenât supposed to tell him thatâ she laughed.Â
âOh I thought I was your first boyfriendâ Hoseok placed his hand over his heart faking sadness as his wife and daughter laughed.Â
Minhyuk
Minhyuk didnât have a clue what he was doing when he called this family meeting. Yet, there they all were, his wife, son, and two daughters who were off on opposite ends of the couch. There was a heaviness in the air that only added to Minhyukâs plate as he figured out what to do. âIâm sure youâre all wondering why weâre here...â
âNot really.â Woori and Hyeonseo replied in harmony. Their heads whipped back to the other and glared.Â
Bailey waved her hand between the girls, âThatâs enough, girlsâ her voice was exasperated and filled with annoyance. She had dealt with the girls arguing on and off ever since they got home from school.
Younghwa snickered at the trio earning a glare by Minhyuk. He straightened up in his chair as Minhyuk pointed at the two girls.
âYou two are the reason we are hereâ Minhyuk stated. âHyeonseo, the language you used in this house this morning is inappropriate. We never talk to one another the way you did this morning. If I called your mom a b--â his voice rose higher, âI canât even say the word!âÂ
The family laughed at Minhyukâs attempt to say the word. âLetâs be honest, hunnyâ Bailey shifted in her seat. âYour mother would end you before I could get my hands on youâ her comment caused their children to laugh. Bailey raked her hand through her hair as the laughter quieted. âBut in all honesty, Hyeonseoâ her eyes met her oldest, âYouâre the oldest. Woori and Younghwa will look to you to set an example.â Hyeonseo looked down disappointed. âAnd Woori, you donât know what itâs like to lose a family member. Losing your great grandma killed me. I felt like I would never be complete again.â Baileyâs voice broke and Minhyuk put his hand on her shoulder lovingly.Â
âI only said it because she called me a bitch...â
âBecause you shoved me!â Hyeonseo snapped.Â
âYou hog the bathroom EVERYDAY!âÂ
âThatâs what happens when you sleep in. I have dance practice first thing in the morning. I have to look my best everyday. Unlike you who wakes up pretty!â A silence fell over the family of five. Hyeonseo looked away from her family with her arms crossed periodically wiping at her face. Minhyuk went to speak, but Bailey caught his hand to signal him to stay silent.Â
Woori scoffed, âI donât wake up pretty. You have momâs hair and your skin isnât too white that you look like some ghost. Iâm not even close to being as pretty as you.âÂ
Hyeonseo and Woori went quiet and Bailey moved to sit between them, âSo what can we do from here? I think both of you are beautiful, but what I think doesnât matter.â
âOf course notâ Woori smiled shyly. âYouâre supposed to say that.â
âYeaâ Hyeonseo agreed. âItâs like in the mommy manual.â
Bailey gasped, âThe mommy manual? Whatâs that and how do I get my hands on it?âÂ
The girls laughed as their eyes met each other. âIâm sorryâ Hyeonseo apologized. âI shouldnât have called you that name and I really regret it.â
âMe too. Iâm sorry. I donât want you to die because then Iâd be stuck with Younghwa on my own.âÂ
âWhoa whoa whoa! I am a blessing!â Younghwa snapped his fingers at his sisters.Â
Minhyuk held out his hands, âGroup hug. Everyone come on.â No one moved. âI guess my dear family wants me to go to important events and shout out every embarrassing thing theyâve ever done.â Everyone got up from their chairs and went over to hug Minhyuk who grinned victoriously. After their hug, Minhyuk shooed them, âNow, who wants to play some Mario Kart? Winner gets to pick what we eat for dinner.â
âYouâre on!â The kids shouted as they rushed the tv for controllers.Â
Minhyuk sat beside his wife and placed a kiss on her temple. âYou think we need to talk to Hyeon and Woo in private?â
Bailey nodded, âBut not tonight.â She gave his hand a squeeze. âThanks, even though you really suck at family meetings.âÂ
Remember how it was noted that Jaebum almost lost Yuna? Well this was one of the two times. The first was when she wouldn't even give him a chance to date her. This includes some angst, but not enough to have a trigger (: just a good old punch in the face (don't really punch your friend in the face--unless they deserve it) (:

Mark
Christmas was Marcieâs and Markâs favorite time of year. Not only was it near their anniversary since they began to date, but it was a time they both got to see their families for a big reunion. Christmas in LA was always fun for them as their families would spend the day together as a happy family for the past four years. However, this year, the families spent Christmas in snowy Colorado at Marcieâs and Markâs vacation home. To Mark and Marcie, family was important which was why they were so important with their next step.
Mark had planned proposing to Marcie for the past six months with the help of their parents. Marcie was on an expedition in the United Kingdom and was due to conclude it a week before Christmas. The distance was what made Mark more sure of proposing. Being away from Marcie was normal in their relationship due to their jobs, but he hated being home alone. Mark also feared that one day, Marcie may realize how much better she was without him and leave him.
Marcie was getting out of the airport with her cart of luggage from her several month long trip. She tucked herself deeper into her winter coat as she looked for her family. Her body was sore from all the bending and digging, but it gave her a sense of satisfaction as they may have discovered more history about Stonehenge.
âCiecie!â
Her head whipped around to see Mark with a giant poster with her parents and his. Forgetting her bags, she ran up to Mark and threw her arms around Markâs neck. Her father retrieved her bags as Mark held her tightly in his arms taking in her scent. Marcie loved the adventure her work gave her, but she loved her home with Mark so much more. âI love youâ she whispered in the crook of his neck.
âI love you moreâ he kissed her head before she pulled back and he gave her a kiss on the lips.
The family spent the week before Christmas catching up with Mark and Marcie as well as McKenzie and Changkyun who had stopped in to visit and announce their wedding plans for the following year. Marcie was asked to be McKenzieâs maid of honor which Marcie immediately accepted while Changkyun asked Mark to be one of his best men which he readily agreed. Due to the wedding announcement, Mark debated on proposing after their news, but with a push from both their parents and McKenzieâs not so subtle threat, he pushed forward.
Christmas Eve, the families attended church so that Christmas Day, they could spend it together. Everyone was opening presents dressed casually minus Mark and Marcie who had plans afterwards to go celebrate their anniversary. Done with the presents, the parents cleaned up the wrapping paper and subtly moved as McKenzie grabbed her phone and hit record. Mark and Marcie were the only ones by the Christmas tree and Mark couldnât help the smile that grazed his lips.
Marcie stood to move, but he caught her hand stopping her as he reached for the final present, âThis one is for you from me.â A blush crossed his face as Marcie took the small bag.
Cooly she pulled out the gift paper and found a jewelry box. She smiled expecting another ring or earring to add to the collection Mark had already given her. However, when she flipped open the box, she let out a gasp before looking at Mark who was kneeling before her.
Mark cleared his throat as he felt nervous. âI found the reason for my smile, the day I met you. You complete me, make me, and fulfil me. So will you marry me, Marcie Delilah Addington?â
Marcieâs shaky hand was over her mouth as tears fell down her face. Words would not form and she nodded her head. Mark stood up and took the ring out the box and placed it on Marcieâs finger as the family cheered. He wiped her face of the fallen tears before he kissed her.
Jaebum
To say Jaebum took Yuna for granted was an understatement. Itâs not that he meant it on purpose, but he was so used to her being there by his side. At least she had been until she walked out the door of their shared apartment with a small bag of clothes. The slamming of the door was the only noise that was made. Jaebum sat on the couch unmoved from his position. The emotions in him swirled, anger, sadness, betrayal, but most importantly emptiness. Yuna walked out on him. The woman he promised his life to stabbed him in the back-- and it was all his fault.
Yuna wiped a tear off her cheek as she tried to maintain her calm exterior. She was broken inside, but as she walked down the hall past the neighbors she sure heard their shouting match--she held her head up high. She wouldnât cry. Not there where people would judge her. Where people would assume he left her. Paparazzi would eat up that story and his fans would believe it as they have always hated her. The elevator opened and shut once she was inside. When she was finally alone, her tears spilled and she let out a sob down ten floors of their apartment complex. Her heart felt like it was being ripped apart as she descended down to the main lobby. When she was free from the elevator, she fled no longer caring for the stares of others as she raced out to her car.
A week of silence from Jaebum is what led the others to investigate starting at his apartment. Mark punched in the code to the apartment and opened the door to darkness. The guys rushed inside and saw Jaebum on the couch fast asleep with his phone clutched in his hand. âJae?â Mark approached him and gave him a shake.
Jaebum shot up, âYuna!â He exclaimed but his sadness returned when he saw the guys, âItâs just you guys.â
âJust us?â Jinyoungâs eyebrow rose, âYou havenât answered our texts in over a week and thatâs your response to us?â
Jaebum rubbed his eyes, âThatâs not what I meant⊠I just--I expected Yuna to come home and she hasnât.â The men went silent and tension rose. âShe left meâ Jaebum explained, causing them to exhale as they had feared something had happened to her.
âWhy? Out of all of us, we wouldnât have expected you two to break up?â
Jaebum felt a wave of guilt, âItâs my fault⊠I told her I didnât need a paper to tell me we were in love--â
âOh no you didnâtâ the guys groaned their complaints. âWhy would you tell her that? Sheâs been waiting to be your wife since well forever!â Bambam huffed.
âI know, I didnât think of that when I said it. Of course, I wanna marry her, but weâre so youngâŠâ
âHave you even proposed to her?â Mark countered and Jaebum fell silent. A deafening answer to them and they shook their heads. âYou havenât even bothered to make your relationship serious, dude. No wonder she left.â
Jaebum jumped from the couch and caught Mark by his collar, âI AM SERIOUS ABOUT HER!â
Mark swatted his hands off him as his anger grew, âReally? Where? Fuck, Jaebum weâre all engaged or married and youâre still fucking dating.â
âI know that. I was just waiting for the right time to proposeâŠâ
Mark gestured around the dark room, âI say the perfect time has sailed. Sheâs gone, Jaebum. And instead of going after her, you let her walk out!â
âI KNOW--â
Mark swung at Jaebum, punching him in the jaw. The others reacted as BamBam and Yugyeom grabbed Mark from swinging again while Youngjae and Jackson rushed to Jaebumâs side and Jinyoung stood between them. âStop moping around and fucking do something.â Mark easily shoved Bambam and Yugyeom off him and he turned to leave. âGet your head out your ass. You arenât the only one remotely suffering.â
Mark left, leaving the others and Jaebum alone. Jaebumâs hand cradled his jaw as his other hand clenched, âI know heâs right.. I just donât know what to do.â
âI think you do know what to do, hyung,â Yugyeom replied. And the truth was Jaebum did know but was terrified.
Another week had gone by before Yuna heard any word from Jaebum asking to meet him in their favorite spot--the hill that had a view of the sky. At first, Yuna was going to chuck the letter and tell him to go to hell, but she missed him. Maybe she had over reacted that they were still just boyfriend and girlfriend. Yes, she wanted to be his wife. She loved him so of course she wanted to marry him. She reluctantly gathered herself and got her makeup on before she headed out to the meeting place.
Jaebum checked his watch again for the hundredth time as he moved the bundle of pink roses in his hand. A throat cleared and his head shot up to see Yuna in one of her favorite sweaters and skirts. He had a chance to make up with her! Had this been a breakup, Yuna would have gone a full 9 yards to show what he was losing--something she had done with men who never had the fortunate chance to be with her. The words he had practiced for over a week were gone as he stared at his girlfriend.
âWell? I didnât come here to be stared atâ Yuna scowled. âI was going to meet up with the real estate agentâ she lied. She saw the flicker of hurt in Jaebumâs eyes and she began to feel guilt build, but she shook it off. Weâre not staying with him if he wonât look to a future with us, she coached herself as she crossed her arms.
Jaebum bit his lower lip as he held out the flowers, âI just wanted to talk to youâŠâ Yuna took the roses and pressed them to her. âYou were right.â
âAbout?â
âEverything. How I was selfish about not wanting to get married and how I only thought of myself.â His hands felt clammy as he tried to speak. âYou chased after me for so long and compared to that, the amount of chasing Iâve done has been nothing. But I love you, you have to know tha--â
Yuna pushed her hair off her shoulder, âItâs not enough.â
Jaebumâs shoulders slumped, âI know... â
âYou can love me now and eventually find another woman who you love more. Someone youâd want to start a family with. I could be too annoying to be a wife to youâŠâ
Jaebumâs eyes met her in a panic, âI was a kid when I said that. I never--â No, back then he meant it.
Yuna took a seat on the bench as Jaebum watched her, âItâs stupid. We were kids, but to have the guy you were obsessed with at one point to say that to you, even as a kid, is a hit to your ego. Whoâs to say you wouldnât feel that way again?â Yuna sighed. âMaybe we should just call it quits? With GOT7 and your work, doing thisâ she swung her finger between the two of them âis just going to make your work so much harder.â
She gave him one of her fake smiles and Jaebum wanted to scream. He saw the pain he brought her, the uncertainty she had due to him unable to make them official. Jaebum knew this was more than something he said as a child. This was her love language, she needed action. Words only meant so much to her compared to actions and Jaebum failed. âDonât you see, you leaving me will make my life harderâ he shook his head, âI wouldnât be able to function without you.â Yuna sighed as she went to stand, but Jaebum placed his hand on her shoulder as he knelt in front of her. âI know I suck sometimes. I donât show you that youâre the only one for me, but you have to believe me when I say that. Youâre as important to me as the boys if not more.â He pulled out a ring box from his pockets and opened it. Yunaâs eyes widened as a gasp escaped her lips. âAnd I know this is a pretty shitty way to propose, but I had to show you that you are the only one I want. Mook Yuna, will you marry me?â
Yunaâs eyes watered as she looked from Jaebum to the ring. âIdiotâŠâ Jaebum chuckled as he took out the ring and placed it on her finger. âYouâre such an idiot.â
Jaebum pulled her into his arms as she cried. Her fist hit him in the chest a couple of times before it stilled and her left hand wrapped around his neck. âI still need an answer.â
âYou wanna die? You put me through all this stress and you want an answer?â She pulled back with anger in her eyes. âI should kill you! Iâve lost years off my life because of you. You sho--â
âOh shut upâ Jaebum rolled his eyes playfully as he leaned over and pressed his lips to hers to silence her complaints. He could have sworn she cursed him under her breath, but when she kissed him back he knew he got the answer he needed.
