“And in the end, we were all just humans… Drunk on the idea that love, only love, could heal our brokenness.”
— F. Scott Fitzgerald
“i act like things don’t affect me, but in reality, i just process everything alone.”
“I demolish my bridges behind me…then there is no choice but to move forward.”
— Fridtjof Nansen
“i care, just not enough to lose myself again.”
The literal meaning of the word "relationship" is the way in which two people are connected. But if we define it differently - then it's more like a ship, if it sinks, it will sink as a whole, and if it floats it will float as a whole. One part of ship won't tell the other part, "you sink and I won't". No! Whatever happens, happens mutually. Thats what true intimacy means. If you are in a relationship, then your opponent has to be with you, whether you are on the ground or touching the sky, whether you are in your highs or lows. You cannot love your opponent on a conditional basis. If it's true Intimacy, then it's strong else it's a toxic shit that needs to be let go of.
Cardinal de Retz
A man who doesn’t trust himself can never truly trust anyone else.
More water. More walks. More honest conversations. Less overthinking. Less proving. Less pretending everything is fine.

“The ultimate lesson all of us have to learn is unconditional love, which includes not only others but ourselves as well.” — Elisabeth Kübler-Ross

“It’s simple. Don’t start something you know you can’t finish and don’t make promises you can’t keep. Be consistent, mean what you say, and let your actions speak for you. All else will fall into place.”
— R.M. Drake
The "Good Old Days" were objectively terrible. You just liked them because you were ten years old and your biggest responsibility was not eating paste. There was no "purer time." There was just a time before you realized the world was a meat grinder. People who want to "go back" are usually just people who can't figure out how to operate a QR code menu. The past is a graveyard; stop trying to move back into the mausoleum.
“Either help or give up. Right now devil's advocate is just another name for asshole.”― James S.A. Corey, Leviathan Wakes
“The minute you start keeping score, you’re destroying the relationship.” - Tony Robbins

I love the moments when I realize that I am handling the situation better than a previous version of myself would have.
We don’t have a moral compass, we have a taste preference
If you kill a cockroach, you’re a hero. If you kill a butterfly, you’re a villain.
Morality isn’t about the act.
It’s about the costume.
We like to think we have a moral compass.
We don’t.
We have an aesthetic preference.
The cockroach survives everything.
It outlives disasters. Adapts. Endures. Persists.
But it’s ugly
so we crush it without thinking twice.
The butterfly is fragile.
Temporary. Breakable. Gone in days.
But it’s beautiful
so we turn it into poetry.
And it makes me wonder
how much of what we call “evil” just… doesn’t look good in the light?
How many things have we destroyed for not being pretty enough to protect?
We don’t value life.
We value how it looks when we’re looking at it.
(Famous saying by: Friedrich Nietzsche)
Addictions Suck - I've been clean so long and the itch gets real bad when I'm bored. Filling my time till I exhaust myself, because I don't wanna relapse again ://
