進通迴らが運営するアクティナ開放のための活動組織、Union Frontierの根拠地もこの地域に属している。

上町台地のエリア、主に中央区・浪速区以東を中心とした繁華街。  2050年に日本全土を襲った連続的自然災害を、唯一免れた地域。 災害後は西日本を中心に人口が流入し、2055年より急速に再開発が進められている。 治安は中央警察により管理されているが、一部の地域では警察と反社会的勢力との癒着もみられ、非合法的な武器の売買や、アクティナ擁護派の組織などが散見される。 都市の空気は再開発と先の災害の影響から、有害ガスや放射能で汚染されており、住民にはガスマスク着用が義務化されている。

”アクティナ”と呼ばれる電磁能力をもち、物質の核変換を行うことができる少女。 2057年、同能力者を集めた集団、ユニオン・フロンティアを組織し、同組織代表となる。 先端部に加速器を備えた「ルミノレータ」という杖状の器具によって核変換を行う。 警視庁の「2057年特定監視対象電磁能力者目録」中では監視レベル5（厳重警戒対象）に登録済。 ルミノレータ（Luminorator）で核変換を行う際は、変換対象となる粒子が加速器を経由する。その際に荷電粒子加速度が光速を超えるため、ルミノレータの透明部分からはチェレンコフ放射光が発生する。  EN
