Normalize taking your plus sized partner out for a date night, show everyone how much love you have for each other. Tell off friends and family who try to break down your relationship because it's not what they want, or insult your partner based on their size. Break societal conventions with a smile, don't apologize for accommodations needed to make your partner comfortable and feel cared for. Show them everyday how much you appreciate them just for who they are, show them all of the love you feel for them. Be the happiness and acceptance that many so dearly want to achieve.
There are far too many people who take advantage of others for their personal benefit, this won't change unless we support others who are promoting and enforcing the change we want to see in the community. As a bigger person regardless of race, gender or orientation, you deserve to be treated and loved as a person, not just an object of someone's fetish.
