“So,” Colt props his arm up on Tom’s knee, tipping his head on his hand casually. How he manages to make kneeling look casual, Tom has no idea. “Come here often?” He asks slyly, like he’s leaning across a bar.
Tom might strangle him. And not in the fun kinky way.
(Huh, fun kinky way though. That’s… not a bad idea actually, hindbrain. Keep that in mind for later.)
“How does anyone sleep with you?” Tom asks in disbelief. “Genuine question.”
“You just insulted yourself. Considering you have, and are about to,” Colt points out, sliding the thumb of his free hand under the edge of Tom’s boxers. “Besides, you want to shut me up now, don’t you?”
Yes. Damnit. What the fuck?
Tom’s slept with a lot of people, he’s no shame of what he’s seen people on Twitter call a ‘slut era’. But usually the people he sleeps with, even if they’re teasing and flirting, are always a little in awe of him. Of The Tom Ryder, who’s choosing to be with them instead of anyone else. It’s practically the only reason he hooks up with people sometimes, when he doesn’t even bother turning the charm on. Just the reputation is enough.
He doesn’t think Colt’s ever cared about anything less. And you’d think that this would be the turning point of the movie, the one about ‘seeing you for who you are’ (Tom isn’t that oblivious, he knows a cliche when he sees one)- but instead it just pisses him off more that Colt doesn’t seem to give a shit.
And he still wants to fuck him. Which Colt knows. How infuriating is that?
“If you’re going to keep being a bitch instead of blowing me, you can get out so I can deal with it myself,” Tom flicks Colt’s arm, and gets an eyebrow raise in response. Still not a denial, so he’s smug anyway, but at least it’s not an admittance.
“How anyone sleeps with you when you call them a bitch, is beyond me,” Colt retorts, but clearly he’s in the same position, because he promptly tugs Tom’s boxers down.
