I don't normally post things like this because it's not normally a conversation I need to have but... Dog grooming is a vital part of the health and well being of a dog or cat. I love my job because I get to watch dogs grow, in their family, in themselves, from puppyhood to senior years. Groomers often are the first line of defense in identifying medical issues because we see dogs on level that most owners do not. But there are other times, like this pup where all we can do is provide temporary relief to a dog suffering from lack of care. This is often a very frustrating and avoidable aspect of my job. I try very hard to not approach issues like this with judgement but rather education. I do this so that people work with me to openly discuss and develop a plan to meet the grooming needs of their pets so I don't have to see dogs in this kind of position. So please, feel free to speak up or ask questions but also understand that I speak from a lot of experience and am not trying to sell you a service or scam you, I'm giving you information that's tried and true from years of experience and working with hundreds of dogs.
