It’s okay to not be okay

He didn’t respond and just looked at her. There wasn’t really much to do but stare, not after all she said. He knew she wasn’t one for sharing feelings, so imagine his surprise she when divulged what was probably the biggest secret she held. 

He swallowed, carefully choosing his words before speaking. "If that's what you truly thought, why didn't you try to get help?"

"...Because I'm scared," she said softly. 

"Scared of what?"

"... That I'm right." Her voice was shaking now. "That I’m not normal. That there’s something wrong with me...that...I'm broken." 

Tears welled up in her eyes, threatening to let loose at any moment. Her fists were clenched so tightly they trembled at her sides. He could see how tense her jaw was, how violently she was fighting back the urge to fall apart. 

She was never a big person, and yet, she had never looked so small to him before. So fragile. So vulnerable. So defeated. So desperately clinging to the image of strength in her head while simultaneously trapped in a battle with her inner demons. Cursed to believe the lies they fed her. 

Before he knew it, he quietly approached her and enveloped her in his arms. A firm yet gentle embrace. “It’s okay, even if you are,” he whispered in her ear. “We can fix you, together.” 

All was silent between the two of them. For how long he was unsure. Eventually, he felt small hands cling to the sides of his shirt and a slight dampness on his chest as she hid her face into it. It was more than enough prompting for him to pull her in closer, more tightly, feeling as she did the same. 

“I’ll be here,” he said, again in a whisper. “I promise.”

I wanted to look up that new jeans song I keep hearing about and when I typed "new" into youtube, almost all of the auto suggestions were some variation of "new punjabi song (insert year here)". I literally have no idea why or how youtube came up with these for me.

To anyone who's played kingdom hearts on the nintendo switch, how bad is the lag?

I've read some articles saying that it makes the game almost unplayable in some parts of the game, especially KH3 when timing is crucial in tough fights. I'm genuinely asking cause I've never played KH before and I really want to experience it, but I don't own any playstations (nor will I invest in them for the sake of 1 game series) so my only means of playing KH is through the cloud port on the switch.

But I also don't want to play the cloud version and then get disappointed because the lag ruins the gameplay/makes the game unnecessarily difficult and then taint my experience of the game (speaking from experience when I tried to play the Crash Insane trilogy on steam but my laptop couldn't handle it).

And before anyone asks, yes I did try the demo of the games on the switch. However, the demo only takes you through the tutorial and you don't get to play any of the actual game. So I felt it was an inaccurate representation of what the gaming experience is actually like.
