Interdependence || Ryuuhou
⌠狐⌡—‣ It was a strange way to talk, through animals. Ryuuhou had even been confused for a second, but he noted the snakes hissing before the boy actually spoke. It was an odd occurrence, for sure. He could also tell that those scales were the real deal and not any sort of birthmark, scar, or tattoo. How interesting. At least his roommate wouldn’t be boring or any sort of lack of entertainment.
With the information given he now knew that he wasn’t the only one to wake up here. That mean that was how everyone arrived to this place. By someone kidnapping them. Though they seemed to all arrive at different times.
Instead of staring constantly at those scales, Ryuuhou made sure to make no big deal about them. He kept eye contact and kept his polite demeanor intact.
"I also awoke here on my own," to prove it he pulled back his kimono sleeve with a delicate care, showing the black brand that wrapped around his wrist.
"Do you also have one of these?"
Nodding, Snake pulls back the sleeves of his jacket and dress shirt to reveal the brand underneath, clear as day on his unusually pale skin.
"It was there when I woke up, says Emily."
It's weird, he wants to say, but his lips part and nothing comes out. Right...none of his snakes could feel the mark, nor could they feel how it seemed to send signals to Snake's brain. It tugged at the edges of his brain, making him feel things he knew he was not experiencing first-hand. Right now, it was calm. The footman, however, was anything but calm.
He looks at Ryuuhou curiously, and Emily seems to put two and two together. She hisses, the tip of her tail twitching gently against Snake's cheek.
"Speaking of the mark...does anything feel off about it? Does it make you feel nervous? Asks Emily."
