So, I’ve had this idea for a better horse maker floating around in my head for a while, and decided to make a mockup because my combined obsessions of domestic animal genetics and game design will not be silenced. The interface is based loosely on how real horse genetics work, which I found was the best way to maximize both realism and creative freedom. Breakdown of the features under the cut.

although I love the look of the new trees I wish it looked fuller, and that they kept the green trees away from this zone. As well as had more of a yellowish tint to grass, but still lovely overall!
