Ok, I think I'm going to have to rewatch this entire season to give my final verdict on it. I love it already, but I mean a more complete review. That said, I can already say that this remake handles the aftermath of the manic episode the best.

Lovro needed time to process in order not to react badly in front of Ivan. Ivan needed time alone to deal with what had happened. And they needed to have a conversation, a proper one.

The OG and other remakes often brush past the manic episode and Isak's doubts, as well as Even's reluctance with the romantic aspect. I'm not saying love can't help someone who is in the middle of a mental health crisis, but it certainly isn't the end-all be-all.

I really like that Ivan was able to say he didn't want Lovro to be with him because he doesn't feel alright right now. And that Lovro said he can't promise he'll be there forever, but he still wants to try.

its funny how for the past weeks i was constantly in anticipation of every clip, practically begging for them. but this week i wasn’t ready for any of them (except the one from sunday), they were all so unexpected and im almost like that’s okay for now, you can keep them

it's actually so realistic that they would argue over this. Not wanting physical contact in public is relatable and also a very sound concern, but ivan thinking it's exaggerating is also realistic. the truth is you get this sense that if someone did see them, they would just walk away. not every negative interaction is going to get physical, and no matter the state of the country, you have this tendency to assume bad things won't happen to you. that being said personally i wouldn't let this pushing slide, lovro you did the right thing in my personal opinion because come on it's sad, yes, but it's not that hard to be a bit more subtle
