Okay I updated my orange side design gang ‼️‼️ yes I still stuck with the cowboy look BUT I made it more punk looking 👀 eh? Eh??? Not sure if I did a good job this was very rushed, Ive seen a lot of people draw him as a punk and it’s so cool so I went to go see if I could combined the two and I found some cool references and boom he was born /j ALSO I believe there’s something to do with him being a… Phoenix or some sort of bird soooooo I gave him wings too. Sorry I have to, it’s the rules /j

Sanders sides and the backrooms anyone? 😋😋

I got such strong motivation to draw this, I loved the movie and it got me thinking how the sides may show up if (character) Thomas where to enter the backrooms 🥹 anyone see what I’m cooking? Ive only done a quick design for Patton, I also have a lot of stuff to say so I’ll get to yapping, ALSO if anyone has ideas they want to share design wise for the others please hit it my way I’d love it hear it!!

But I have an idea for how Patton may work as an entity, since hes the heart and just the sweetest guy around I don’t think he would hurt anyone he’d come across, he’s definitely friendly just look at him! That’s why I made him a little plush like, I’m trying my best to mix up a lot of things he represents within Thomas, you know the heart, emotions, the dad and the inner child so it’s definitely a big mixture but I think I got it! I also added small frog details too, the feet and eyes (the eyes are frog shaped but look like a spiral). I don’t think the Patton entity could speak but he’d definitely giggle a lot I’d think and I think he would be very clingy with Thomas as well, probably hugging him too much.

But AAA I had to share this idea it’s been eating away at me for ages 🥹🥹 but if I have more free time I’ll definitely colour in Patton and make more designs! I have so many ideas 😋😋

I FINALLY MADE IT 😭😭😭✌️✌️🥀

I procrastinated way too hard on this… Remus was the reason, even though he’s my favourite design wise… 🥀🥀

But yay it’s done I’m free I’m free! I love the other sides I love making them look freaky! Yay!

I had a lot of fun putting my ideas into these guys, especially Janus, I just liked the idea of making his silly bowler hat look more fancy along with a little vail of sorts to cover his snake half 💪💪 I also touched up his outfit too, love the original but I just didn’t really like how the top under his cloak covered so much of him, looking like a sleeping bag /j (love him) so I gave him a snake belt and I also changed the cloak thingy as well I like how it came out, and I also gave him heels, just seems like he would wear them lets be real and I changed his staff to look more like a snake, I’m so original I swear 🗣️

Now her Virgil, he was also very fun, I didn’t change much because his design is great, I just gave him more accessories which are pricings, and a little chain, we love our emo. I also found it fun to make his shoes look like his hoodie! And he definitely doesn’t tie his shoes (only to look cool he’ll tie them later), I did make him have bad posture on purpose that mf has a shrimp back I bet.

Now Remus, my second favourite side, oh he was great to create yet the most annoying, I love his original design to death so I didn’t change much too, except putting my own little twists here and there, I also love how glittery and shiny his outfit is so I had to put that touch too it, ALONG WITH A CAPE 🗣️🗣️🗣️ I had too it looked so cool in those photos Thomas made (found them on Pinterest) and of course I made it look torn because Remus definitely doesn’t care and I love him for that ❤️❤️

Hey sooooooooooooo… this is my first post, of characters from a book with like no fan base lmao. These are the four main characters from “we have always lived in the castle” by Shirley Jackson. I recently finished reading it and needed to make these designs. Shirley Jackson was the queen of 20th century American gothic literature and has some fantastic books and hundreds of shorts stories. I so so so recommend ready this book and other work by her.

The others are nearly finished but no promises on when they will be posted unfortunately (blame Remus his design sucks)

Speaking of designs Roman and Janus are the ones who took me out idk why they where so hard to make for me, but hey I do like romans, suits him in my eyes, he has to shine wherever he is and I also liked the idea of giving him s cape like thing (I can’t remember the name) 😋😋😋

Patton was the easiest to make, he’s my favourite that’s why, I also just love adding hearts in his design, even his face is based off a heart 🧍🏼‍♀️also he needs to be fat I’m sorry, he’s full of love and two cookies ✌️I do think I’ll be improving on his anatomy more as I draw him, that will be fun!!

Logan was also fun because he was simple (not the muscles.). I personally don’t see him to be very accessorised. Also, I gave him moles. It’s a contrast to Pattons freckle’s. I need them to constantly have connections (you can’t escape it Logan, you will always be connected to the very thing you hate /j) who said that whhhhattttt

I need to really come up with I design I like for orange, I need to add more. I also do like the idea of orange using Logan’s anger as a way to fully form himself, but is laying dormant for now until something happens with Thomas (that is to do with rage or anger teehee) 🙏

I also don’t like to believe that orange is going to be evil, literally none of the sides are so please don’t see this as him being a villain or something, I personally like to think he’ll just be trying to do what he thinks is best for Thomas (like all the other sides) in the moment and probably fuck it up badly 🗣️🗣️💪

I have way to many ideas on this guy and he’s not even shown up I’m cooked.

Ok but like. The concept of patton's role is just. Fundamentally so fucked up.

He's the inner child and the inner parent at the same time. He's their paragon of innocence but he's also their strict moral compass. He's in charge of thomas's long-term memory- his nostalgia, his regrets, his longing for the past. He's the embodiment of all of thomas's emotions, good and bad. He's both the source of and subject to thomas's overwhelming sense of guilt. He's the man upstairs but he's just your dad knocking on your bedroom door but he's also the teary eyed kid who's kneeling at his bed and telling god that he's sorry.

Like holy fuck man i'd turn into a really big frog too
