Lily’s eyes scanned the mainly dark corridors, the only light was what came from the tip of her wand. She was doing patrols alone because the person who was assigned to do them with her had bailed, so it was taking the sixth year Gryffindor twice as long to get the work done. It wasn’t until she got to the third door on the left that she started to hear noises coming from what she thought was an empty classroom. “Hello?” she asked, approaching the door slowly.

Pandora couldn’t sleep so she decided to wander around the castle until she tired herself out. Most of the classrooms were locked but she’d found one that was conveniently open. She was busy looking at things in the classroom when she heard someone call, “Hello --- it’s me Pandora” She calls back to the other.

Hello folks! I’m terribly sorry for not being active but my world was flipped upside down with a sudden family emergency & I had to go. Everything has sorted itself out and I’m back now. Its super late in my timezone so I’m heading to bed but I will be on tomorrow :~)

Truth be told, he’d do most anything for a pretty woman in distress; it was his weakness. “Alright, fine, I’ll help you – where exactly ARE these pixies of yours?”

“I know,  I know --- but if someone finds out  I’ll be in major trouble and my mum is going to kill me” Pandora protests. The young girl had a habit of getting into situations like this. She just couldn’t help herself. “Thank-you!” She grins at him, “Well uh --- they’re all in Slughorn’s classroom -- I don’t know if they’ll still be there though”.

Xen’s eyes widened for a second at the sight of Pandora.  Of course he’d mess up in front of her.  “OH it is simple!” He explained trying to remove the soot from himself only to smear it over his face more.  “I just need to add less Asphodel root and more dittany.” He explained proudly.  “I mixed them a bit too much and it had a chemica— well you saw what happened.”

Pandora gives the boy a smile, “Is it? Tell me about it” She asks him. She had always liked listening to him talking. A giggle escapes her lips as he smears more soot on his face, “Really? Did you know Asphodel was believed to be the favourite food of the dead --- so people often planted near gravestones” Pandora pauses, “I’m trying to work out what potion you’re trying to make but I just can’t seem to get it” She says with a shake of her head. Another giggle escapes her lips, “It was all very dramatic” She tells him.

There was a loud explosion from the potion’s room.  Xenophilius flew through the door coated in ash.  “Don’t worry! I can fix this.” He groaned quickly composing himself and running back into the potion room.

Pandora was walking to her next class, it was potions and she didn’t really enjoy it much so she was walking slowly. She saw Xenophilius fly through the door and it made her giggle, “You can? What is there to fix?” She asks.
