I don't know if you have had the pleasure to go through Justin Min's twitter but what I find absolutely delightful is that, despite being a talented, handsome, famous young man, he's literally just as lowkey dumb as any other young man his age, and I love it. I love it.
(Special mention to how he generically says "person" or "people" instead of using a gender addressing term when talking about someone he's trying to hit on/flirt with lol. I stan an inclusive king okay.)

I have a question for the actors- if you guys were one of the 43 children randomly born on on October 1st, 1989, what would you want your powers to be? Would it be the same as the characters you play?
(p.s- I love this show so much and the acting is phenomenal!)
What was the scene with the most breaks? Where you couldn’t continue filming because you were maybe laughing too hard:)
Minho is such a deeply layered character. It takes a lot to get him outwardly mad/angry/frustrated on a serious level. The way Kitty is almost always taken aback by his anger proves that, especially when she’s used to their friendly banter or annoyances. I think it’s opened her eyes (and even ours) to something beyond his strong yet relaxed facade. It’s a deeper side of him and a place of vulnerability that he doesn’t let many people into or burden them with.
Beyond who was right or who was wrong, if we viewed those situations simply from his point of view it made sense why he was frustrated. I think he had the right to be. It also showed us a lot about his character and the values and trust he holds for himself, for others he cares about and the hope he has that others who care for him have the same value and trust in him...
And honestly, I have to give so much credit to Sangheon for developing so much depth in the way he is portraying Minho. We can see the growth in him as an actor and the growth in Minho as a character.
Analysis of Episode 2x02
I want to talk about a scene in 2x02 I am not seeing enough people talking about. It’s the scene where they all have detention.I think it is an important scene to give clues about each other’s emotional state since we really don’t get many scenes of the character’s reflecting on the events that they face. I guess because of the runtime and because Kitty is the main character of the show. I find it interesting that at the start of the scene we have Kitty asking about his date with Stella.She scoffs at Minho calling his date with Stella boring because he is playboy which to me represents her trying to justify another reason why she is not with Minho. It’s because he is known to be playboy.
Then the camera pans to Kitty and Minho in front of Mirror. A mirror in literature symbolizes self-reality and in this case neither of them are looking at it, meaning they both are avoiding and masking their true feelings for each other. Also she is walking behind him and he is in front of her meaning he has already realized his feelings for her and is lying. While, she still hasn’t figured hers and is catching up.
Lastly, they switch positions and he moves behind her. He asks her why she is so interested in his love life Covey. Here she doesn’t face him means she is affected and hiding but I also think she feels guilty for rejecting him as she knows he doesn’t open up easily. The scene is a trajectory to how their relationship in season 2 plays out. they move back to their usual banter .
I hope you enjoy my over analysis of what seems like all fun but is so much deeper when I rewatched the show. The show is a mess due to only being eight episodes and twenty minutes runtime but these two are written so well. I need more moots to obsess about them so please follow. Also if you guys have any thoughts on this scene please do share
Kitty & Minho + Glances & looks In Xo Kitty S2 | (2025)
(guy who can’t stop thinking abt the stationary store scene) yall to me it just means so much when someone who has played such an important role in kitty’s life meets minho. guys peter is kitty’s hero he’s her big brother forever he’s the person who makes lara jean happy and that means more than anything to kitty so of course she loves peter. he is part of her family. i think someone who gets involved w kitty’s family the way minho did is very important bc of how big of a theme family is in the tatbilb/xo kitty universe and even that is just if we exclude peter going “y’know i totally think he likes you still” LOL peter kavinsky approved!
not even just w peter but w margot too i think that even if it goes unmentioned margot’s impression of minho WILL be “the boy who helped kitty get us to reunite our grandmothers” like…
also think it’s hilarious that despite minho being all sassy and tougher than he rlly is and honestly prob a little jealous of peter (his tiny irrational side coming out 😭) peter didn’t end up w a bad impression of minho which i think is also a reflection of peter’s character too which i liked
You know, you can tell that despite all his logic (he CHECKED that she was home - he got wrong info but it was reasonable) and his cold-bloodedness, you can tell he was terrified she actually was in danger. You can see it in the way he looks at her.
But she has no idea and she has no idea that he was telling kidnapper to murder her in full belief kidnapper did not have her, and all she sees is her husband not giving a fuck if she lives or dies. I do love that he brings this up, and it is so an indirect way of seeking reassurance "how absurd" he says, in hopes she will confirm (but also assuming that if stuff happened, she will let him know) but she understandably just shut him out in every way.
He is reassuring himself but she hears it as he doesn't care and it's such a believable misunderstanding with their situation (marriage of convenience) and their characters...

She's repeated the same hand movements thousands of times to become who she is. People don't know that. So don't talk about my wife like that.
When the Phone Rings (지금 거신 전화는) 2024
the sunset being scenic representation of his love for Heejoo because sunsets are dichotomous - earth says goodbye to sun but in hopes of meeting again and again till the end of times and just like that Seon hoping/seeing Heejoo again and again, irrecoverably in love.
but here his mind probably went haywire because sun might leave forever... His light.. his Heejoo
but it does changes when the flare went up and his face gets adorned by the relief that sun might have said goodbye to earth, but there's always a hope of them returning to each other and just like that Seon and Heejoo did too!
WTPR is such a goldmine of detailed show that I think I'll be watching and keep going back ,picking up so many of them...
