#TBH I haven’t always lived in my light. I’m not sure if there is a statute of limitations on some of the things I’ve done, so I won’t incriminate myself, but I have lived in the dark before. There are some parts of me that I choose not to give in to. The part of me the gets a rush living on the edge of good and bad. The part of me that would rather be a stripper than anything else. The part of me who often wants to smack a bitch and then drag her grandma. There are thoughts that cross my mind and even I have to say to myself, “Damn bitch that was dark!” But the upside to knowing those parts of me exist is knowing that I also exist beyond them. I confront my darkness daily and I make sure my shadow woman knows I appreciate her being there to love the parts of me I try to shake.
