Greetings Killjoy, I’d like to ask for some advice from a fellow SSC clone (I apologize if it’s a sore subject).
I am not sure if you have any particularly invasive implants that require synthetic skin to cover, but if you do, do you know how to repair the synthetic skin? Particularly if it has been burned. I am having… a slight issue with mine right now.
Apologies for the strange question, feel free to disregard.

@leastinsanesscpilot
I do possess some implants that have been partially covered by synthetic skin, mainly the usual neurolink port on the back of my neck, or the various sense enhancers across my arms and face.
In most circumpstances, synthetic skin can self-regenerate if you provide it with the right material, depending on skin hue and texture. Usually you would apply a ready-made paste to the area where the skin was torn off. It will then spread itself using this paste. Ships often carry reserves within their medical bay, and if yours is lacking them, you should be able to print some or simply find stocks on any habited world.
Although, to be frank, I am not entirely sure what to do in the event of a severe burn. From my understanding, when synthetic skin burns up, it essentially "dies" and loses the ability to regenerate. You might have to cut the charred parts of yourself, and if it still won't heal, you will have to find someone capable of reapplying new skin manually.
That's the extent of my knowledge, at least. If you require more in-depth info, I'm sure @whohasfourthumbsand could help you further.
I hope you manage to fix this comfortably.
