PARKER GAY THEORY :shock:
ok guys everyone knows the biggest way to clipfarm parker is just to say "parker are you gay" and he will refuse to admit it and its all hahahah funny BUT i have actual theories onto why he acts like this, and why its much more deeper rooted from it all just being a funny haha stupid gay joke
First of all, like in my other theory about Parker i made, Parker has attachment issues, this is most likely due to him being online quite early as he said a while back, of course being online will expose you to things a young kid probably shouldn't go through, he most likely went through the horror stories of having to comfort his friends (who probably where signifcantly older if not even adults) from not killing themself, and of course, due to this there had to be a case where he couldn't save them, and they actually did die which would fuck him up, causing him to blame himself over not saving his friend. Not to mention how he might've lost friends due to drama (whether he caused it, but i highly doubt Parker would do something like me and just start going fucking insane, most likely his friends just got into drama and he couldn't be friends with them cus they like sent death threats and he misses them/grieves them still).
You also have his roomate, we don't really know alot about them, but from what I could tell, his roommate seems to just not really gaf about him, actively not helping him when his life is fucking falling apart (fishy becoming blind, literally anything that happened in the ivandrew rp, booker attempting, booker living with his parents, booker now living with parker to escape said parents). Also i might be mis remembering this but im like 78% sure his roommate drinks so anytime they do make an appearance they might be drunk and passed out not doing shit, so for what it seems, Parker's life was watching his friends die, losing friends, his parents not giving a shit, his roommate not giving a shit, nobody seemed to give a shit about him.
Ok thats cool and all but like what about the gay part, im getting there jeez....anyways, Parker is implied to not be cis, they present masculine, but is shown to be afab, I cannot remember for the life of me if parker is genderfluid or trans, but i somewhat remember him being trans (if im wrong sorry!!!), obviously being trans comes with a myriad of issues, (i would know im trans wow!) gender dysphoria, trying to present like the gender you want to be but you just can't/don't think you look enough like it, transphobia, all that shit that nobody really likes, and him being not cis ties all into why he refuses to say hes gay
I explained more into detail into why Parker suffers from attacthment issues, because for majority of his life, either nobody cared about him, or he kept loosing people, and for the part where he did get friends when they died/left him either due to drama, or thinking he's weird (or another reason which i will mention soon) he desperatly, tries to grasp to the next person, he can't let them go, he can't loose them again, but the cycle repeats. This could mean he could've gotten groomed (wow this got dark fast), as people saw how vulnerable he is, wanting to have someone, wanting to be close, and used that to their advantaged, using hkm, making him feel needed, and given how Parker as i've presented him is shown to have attachment issues' he would bend over backwards for anyone, even his groomer(s), doing stuff that he know he shouldn't, but his brain just can't let him stop, he just can't loose them
But theres another side to this, with him being so desperte to have someone close, this also could present the side of him not wanting to be overbearing, this might be a oxymoron but here me out. He's so used to well being used, so tired of chasing after the next person, if parker did have other partners/people that were closer than friends, i'd imagined the relationships ended quite badly due to people thinking he was to overbearing,to attatched, to weird, just way too clingy. And thats were Booker comes in.
Even taking away all the toxic codependency that Booker and Parker share, Booker is the first person as it seems that geniuenly cares for Parker, he likes, no loves this dude. He would do anything for this guy, and thats the same in Parker's world view, the both would literally fight for the other. But Parker doesn't want Booker to leave, he can't leave/ But he can't let it end like his other friendships/relationships, not to mention hes trans (or genderfluid) and in the case of he's trans and i remembered right, he doesn't view himself as a real boy, he's still that young girl who just wants a friend. He can't accept hes gay not because he doesn't view himself as gay, no he knows, even before him and booker got intimate, when they started to get closer, he knew he was gay, but he just can't admit it, because admiting it would mean he could loose it at any moment, admitting it would mean that he knows his feelings are true, he can't loose Booker, the only person who truly cares, so he just says their friends, as a coping mechanism
If he says they're just friends, then when Booker leaves like Parker thinks he will, the feeling of the sadness won't be as horrible, it'll hurt, but they were just friends! everyone looses friends! He can't say their boyfriends, oh no because who looses boyfriends?
