woke up out for blood but. the scene where hannibal & will are in the office having a drink probably way past will's appointed time & hannibal opens up about mischa is imo one of the best & more important moments when it comes to hannibal allowing will to peak behind the veil. before he starts talking about his sister his eyes go vacant for a second, while he is speaking he looks down, unwilling or unable to meet will's eyes in a very uncharacteristic sign of honest vulnerability, his voice grows progressively rougher as he continues reminiscing. he pauses & takes a rather shaky breath before saying her name for the first time, almost as if he has not spoken it in decades. & he probably hasnt. when will asks, & hannibal confirms that shes dead, he does it quickly, almost offhandedly, dismissively, & immediately changes the topic to abigail. a topic that he knows will provoke an emotional reaction in will, but one he will be able to control. god. ive said this before but the boy hannibal was died with his sister in the snow, & yet he has been carrying his own ghost his entire life. haunted house of a man
