Hamlet adaptation where Hamlet is a vlogger and all his soliloquies are breakdowns he uploads to YouTube
… I am unironically here for this
this is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen in my life
This is - legitimately - my favourite delivery of Shakespeare I have EVER seen (and I have seen some good-ass productions yo, in the Globe Theatre itself even). Like seriously, even though the words are unchanged, he’s stripped away ALL of the archaic pretense and assumed grandeur of ~presenting the bard~ that makes even the most wildly talented of actors and innovative of productions inherently inaccessible to a modern audience. Like, they’re still great, they can still communicate the message and (some) of the nuance, but they’re still always a step removed from being identifiable to any viewer’s lived experience. They’re still always reciting 15th century poetry. But this guy? This guy is like, screw iambic pentameter, to hell with being precious about the material, HOW WOULD AN ACTUAL PERSON SAY THIS SHIT?
Like this. And it’s beautiful. It’s beautiful to hear a soliloquy I loved so much already, and have it come to life in a way it never, ever, did before. I feel like I grasp his motivations, his twists and turns, no longer on an academic level but on a visceral, instinctive one. Because he’s presenting his mental and emotional journey in a way that speaks honestly, like a real person.
So yeah, this shit post? I love it. Deeply and sincerely.
A post about this went round recently, and I’m delighted to announce she’s since come out as trans and goes by Jasmine 🏳️⚧️

I wanna hear if anyone else has any animalistic or alien inhuman head cannons
I like the idea that inhumans because of the whole “every inhuman is designed for a reason” the original kree experiment intended for specific purposes for every inhuman so there’s obviously generals (hive) soldiers (daisy, Lincoln, Joey) and then ones helping the kree with controlling tracking or culling (lash or Dwight) the other inhumans
maybe other stuff like yo-yo could be designed as a scout daisy might be a specifically bomb/tank like force instead of just soldier in case they just needed to blow a place up instead of fight
In order to get this to continue through generations they probably did something with what they were injecting them with that’s similar to what we did over time with dogs (or they did it over the time they had before the inhumans and humans led by hive kicked em out) and I like to think that whatever they did to do that left them with a lot of animal like traits that are desirable for controlling a group of creatures
Obviously things like attempts at stuff we actually did with dogs things like obedience and intelligence (definitely different instincts depending on the role as a soldier) but also the stronger a family/pack dynamic is in a animal species the easier they are to control and domesticate so it’s probable they tried to really strengthen that making them want to group up and have fulfill the roles that they’re designed for family and or army wise
I also think it’d be cool if they had some kree and alien traits from the alien blood
Like enhanced stamina speed and strength obviously maybe they get a lil bigger but also things like maybe they need to breathe less often maybe their lungs and organs change a bit maybe they like different foods maybe their eyes change a bit make them weirderrrr
I’m a big fan of make them weirderrrrr
I’m also a big fan of them getting more drawn into acting more instinctual whe their in groups, like they start reacting to something deep down and dormant when hanging out and more so when responding to threats
They start to fall into their positions they instinctively are better at working together explaining how yo-yo and Joey were immediately really good at fighting together and how that team did such a good job in general
And I love the idea that it gets SUPER intense when they’re connected with hive it’d be cool if he has the effect of making them much more animalistic and much better at their soldier roles through the whole sharing a connection thing and I love the idea of it still having an effect on daisy after and other inhumans being able to kind of feel it and react to it
Fuck it hive daisy fanart
I love my girl and her very first and last time being happy

I think it's kind of funny how the show keeps insinuating that Skye isn't very smart over the course of season 1 as if she isn't also a literal genius.
It goes beyond just hacking too! In s1ep5 it's shown that Skye can consistently beat Ward at strategy games. Skye, a high school dropout who they quite literally abducted off the street, is able to consistently beat someone who we're told is one of the best agents SHIELD has at strategy games. That's insane!!

In Psych, I love how the main character has like hidden attributes that are never talked about but stay consistent through the show.
The ones I've noticed are Shawn's perfect aim and his extremely high pain tolerence. I pray to God Henry only gave him one of those.
His aim works for anything that aligns with his hands. Examples being throwing the basket ball in the Psych office, throwing stuff to Gus, and every instance of him actually getting a gun. Shawn always hits his target. Which makes the times he has a gun strangely terrifying and sexy.
You see Shawn's true pain tolerance a few times. While he complains about small hurts or injuries, that's all they are, complaints for attention. When Shawn's in actual pain, he's much more quiet about it. His tolerance for actual pain is frightening because he can keep functioning almost optimally. The examples that immediately come to mind are: when he's shot, with Drimmer, and after his appendex surgery.
In the episode where Shawn's shot in the shoulder, he's in obvious pain but still manages to keep Henry's lessons in mind and would have actually escaped (rescuing himself) if the bad guy hadn't been literally the only person around. But through the pain, Shawn's able to keep planning and scheme. His pain tolerance is high lighted in the car chase. He not only jumps onto a car, holds on at high speed, but also keeps his perfect aim with his injured arm. He just completely swallows the kickback from Lassie's powerful gun like it's nothing. But you know he's in horrible agony because once the car stops, he completely crumbles.
In the episode where Shawn is taken prisoner by Drimmer, we see that same level of tolerance. At Lassie's house, Shawn is already hurt from being punched but he ignores it. When Drimmer pistol whips Shawn (I love how pissed/protective Lassie gets), Shawn curls up not only is he able to continue his summation but Shawn is also able to actively attempt to tackle Drimmer.
In the episode where Shawn has surgery, we see another instance of Shawn getting quiet while in pain and able to carry through pain for extended periods. On stage we have no way of knowing how long Shawn was in pain for but it must have been for some time because he stayed until he literally was brought to his knees by the pain. Then, at the end of the episode, he's still recovering from abdominal surgery but is able to tolerate his pain long enough to get out of bed without complaint and calmly start a sneak attack and tackle the bad guy BEFORE the adrenaline would have kicked in full force to give Shawn the strength to fight for that long.
These are just two pieces of Shawn that completely fascinate me. It also fascinates me how these are two attributes that Shawn never brags about. He keeps them close to his chest until he's forced to use them.

I love that the modern-day tumblr post equivalent of chain emails only requires me to reblog a relatively pleasant image instead of forward an email to a bunch of my friends and family members to quell my raging anxiety.
It’s a win win. I get a bit of hope, you get a cute birb photo

Amputees continue to be the funniest people on the planet why are the rest of us even trying
Mrs. Claus opens "The Year Without a Santa Claus" by claiming the eponymous year took place "before you were born". Seeing as the movie was released in 1974, this means the year must have been before then.
Bounding this on the lower end is the presence of ice hockey - mentioned by Heat Miser - and the use of telephones. Ice hockey was invented in 1875, while Alexander Graham Bell built the telephone in 1876, meaning the year must post-date these. These figures give a range of approximately 100 years during which Santa may have taken his holiday.
Yet, narrowing this further is the presence of a December calendar counting the 1st to a Wednesday. Between 1876 and 1974, only the Decembers of 1880, 1886, 1897, 1909, 1915, 1920, 1926, 1937, 1943, 1948, 1954, 1965, and 1971 started on a Wednesday.
But still this can be narrowed further.
When Santa set out that Christmas Eve, we see what appears to be an almost full Moon in the sky. Within the years listed, only 1920 had a full Moon on Christmas.
Ergo, 1920 was the year without a Santa Claus.

Sasuke scoffed and glared at the girl standing before him. “Sharpay Evans. I know you were the one who ordered my older brother to destroy my clan. For that, you shall die!” He roared, closing his eyes and activating his Sharingan. ” I WILL AVENGE MY FAMILY!”
“I’d love to see you try, sasuke”
