I may not know what it is like. But it weighs heavy that we still live in a country so divided. We are so incredibly fortunate to have the freedoms we do. The only thing standing between us is a hateful presidency. I think these PEACEFUL protests are essential for us to see that our brothers and sisters are suffering. What I do think is that it should be shown in a different way. I believe the symbolism of the national anthem is to show respect to those who have died fighting for these freedoms. To show thanks for those suffering from PTSD. It's real and this is one way to show our respect and our thanks. But I do know know the right way to stand up against this problem our country faces. I pray that we can unite as one against those whose heart is full of hatred. I pray that we can set an example for those generations after us. I pray that this presidency starts to focus on the real problem at hand. . . . Let's stand together against hate. #unitedweSTAND #unitedstatesofamerica #nohate #istandwithmybrothersandsisters #butstandforthosewhoserved (at Houston, Texas)
