I loved the look on her face. And the big production he made out of letting her sit there. But I always thought he took his chair and put it next to her desk, not that she gave it to him. Then it became “his” chair and when she missed him but was trying to pretend she didn’t miss him, she’d look at the chair. But it’s possible I’m wrong. I do know in the Nikki Heat books, Rook takes a beat up desk that no-one uses and claims it as his. So maybe that’s why I thought that happened with his chair.

Well, this was a joke, but I’m fairly certain if he was going to be there all day he would have to sit somewhere, and so they appropriate old chair for him to use. Whether he pulled it up the first time or not doesn’t change the fact that in HER office he had a whole chair.
