i’m absolutely begging the show to treat wrecker and echo right

wrecker deserves the hero moment to protect omega 😣 he went into protective uncle mode and for what? so he could get more head trauma so his chip activates? (don’t do that to me filoni)

and the echo thing was sort of funny (i liked the ‘im worth more than 2000 credits’ line), but honestly it didn’t work that well just because it seems like they’re always treating echo as less than, calling him a reg, or even a droid. this better be building up to some shit where he eventually stands up for himself or something.

Period!!! Esp about Echo!! I feel like the other boys always berate him and see him as a less valuable team member, so I hope we get to see him stand up for himself. Bonus points if he comes to that conclusion after realizing Omega is the only one that truly and deeply looks up to him. I think there could be an interesting dynamic there. Even though they’re all outcasts, Echo seems to be treated as the lowest, and yet Omega looks up to him. Idk I’m rambling but I find that significant. Know what, more relationship between Omega and Echo, Omega and Tech, and Omega and Wrecker, please?? And Wrecker and Echo? Hunter and Echo? It’s 3 am so when I look back this won’t be coherent and I’m sorry

Overall, I’m pretty pleased with this episode! I liked the pacing, and it was a great introduction for a character we already know and love. I appreciated the setup/foreshadowing for more conflict centering around Omega and I keep finding myself asking what her mutation/skill/power is! I want to give Tech a gentle hug. I want to tell Echo he is loved. I want to hug Wrecker and give him a little peck on the cheek. I want to get stepped on by Hunter 😳🥴🥵😩but that’s ✨irrelevant✨ rn. What’s important is I love my Disaster Boys and their Adopted Daughter ™️

Fete/Festival Weeks

New Year Fete Week = first five days of the new year (takes place before the first month)

Festival of Life =  five days between the sixth and seventh months. It was marked by parties, get-togethers, and gift-giving.

Festival of Stars =five days between the ninth and tenth months of the year that celebrates interstellar space travel. It was marked by vacations to other worlds most often.

The Galactic Standard Calendar is based on the luno-solar calendar of Coruscant (from before the official founding of the Empire). It is the ‘standard’ in both the Republic and the Empire for basic measurements. However, there are many, many variations for various species, planets, etc. This is just the ‘standard’ used; similar to measurements of weight, etc. 

Basically, this is not the ‘only calendar’ but the one used most often by governments, the military, etc. to be the ‘standard’. I thought it might be useful for people writing or roleplaying in the Star Wars galaxies to have a rough idea.

NOTE: There is mention in some sources of a 12 month/368 day calendar, but it doesn’t mention length of weeks, months, etc. other than ‘30-31 days’ so basically seems to be a ‘real life calendar’. I’m not 100% sure which is considered ‘canon’ so I choose to list the one that was a bit more ‘different’ for fun.
