Sambastian Week 2026!

I'm 100% normal about the Sam/Sebastian ship for Stardew Valley, and in June, you can be too! Introducing Sambastian Week 2026! Running from June 7-13th, it's a no-pressure, just-for-fun event centered around Pelican Town's skater boy and emo "just good friends".

All submissions are welcome - fics, drabbles, ficlets, art, cartoons, doodles.

We have reached the conclusion of the 2026 Promptis Gift Exchange. Whether you were a participant, or simply along for the ride to read the wonderful stories and view the exceptional artwork, thank you for helping to make this gift exchange a joyful event. 

To all of our talented participants: thank you for all of your hard work and for being a part of this event. You have gone above and beyond to contribute incredible Promptis fanworks for your gift recipients and this exchange. You are what makes it so special and I’m so happy for you to finally be able to reveal which fanwork you created for the Promptis Gift Exchange.

At this time, all of our wonderful creators are now free to post your stories/artwork anywhere else that you desire. We also advise you to update the posting date of your Ao3 post at this point so that your contribution appears as a new work under your own name.

If anyone is aware of any stories or artwork that were created in response to any other fanworks in the exchange, please let me know by sending me a link or by pinging me at @promptisgiftexchange so I can give it a boost. Likewise, if any of you have plans to write or draw anything as a response to the gift you received, I would love to be made aware of them once they are completed so I can promote it as well.

I would also like to give a special shout out and thank you to @ffxv_zine_news on Bluesky. Your continuous reposting and support of the Promptis Gift Exchange (especially considering the fact that I wasn’t tagging your account while I was promoting individual works over the course of the last two months) did not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support and promotion of all of the individual stories and pieces of artwork that our participants worked so hard on, and for all of the wonderful things that you do everyday for our FFXV community as a whole.

WHAT IS THE REMIX EVENT?

The FFXV Remix is an event where you recreate someone else’s FFXV content with your own interpretation. It is an event intended for people who are interested in stretching their creative muscles and playing in someone else’s sandbox. Sign up for this event because you want to create in someone else’s world, not because you want to receive anything. There are no pinch hitters, so there is no guarantee that your work will get remixed, in the end. At the end of the day, the Remix is not a gift exchange. The person assigned to your works does not have to create content you would want to consume. To quote someone back from the early beginnings of the dawn of the remix challenge, “even if you don’t like what’s done to your story, your story is still *yours* and no one can take it from you. Someone else playing with it doesn’t change the original text.”

The remix is for you if:

You want the challenge of being randomly assigned a creator's works to remix.

You're comfortable with random matching.

You meet the minimum number of works required to participate.

The FFXV Remix Madness is an event where people give permission for anyone to recreate specific FFXV content with their own interpretation. Submit your own FFXV works to this event because you want to provide others with the chance to play in your sandbox. Claim prompts in this event if you’re interested in stretching your creative muscles. This is not a gift exchange. There are no matches, no pinch hitters, and no guarantee that your work will get remixed. People who claim a work for Remix Madness do not have to create content the original creator would want to consume. To quote someone back from the early beginnings of the dawn of the remix challenge, “even if you don’t like what’s done to your story, your story is still *yours* and no one can take it from you. My favorite scenes in the LotR books are the ones where Legolas has vital information and just decides it's not important to share.

Like when Gandalf spent literal PAGES trying to figure out why the vibes were off in Moria and Legolas chimes in with just "it's a balrog :) that shit's evil :) we're so fucked :)" like what do you MEAN you knew already and just didn't tell him??

Or at the beginning of Two Towers when Aragorn thinks there's something nearby so he puts his ear to the ground to listen, and then like 10 minutes later is like "hmmm i hear horses" and Legolas is just like "mm yep. there are 105 blond bitches with spears" like you just let your friend put his face in the dirt and you can SEE them??
