Heya! I was curious how you got into freelance animation? (Lackadaisy and The Lovers) Did they reach out, or did you apply somewhere? Do you have any advice for aspiring freelance animators?

hello! for lackadaisy and the lovers, i saw their job posts on social media (twitter/insta) and reached out to their emails with my reel! as for advice, honestly i don't really know haha i'm pretty new at this too, but don't lose faith if you don't get replies from job apps (it's really common, it's not you, job searching just sucks), and know your worth/set fair rates for yourself! feel free to message me if you have any other questions :D

#ive found almost all of my jobs through twitter lol #ive only done remote indie work in games/shorts/trailers/webseries though so i dont know much outside of that #if you can join communities of animators that's really helpful too! im in a lot of discord servers with jobsearching channels #anon #ask
